Like the chilled out, funny style of this show, makes me want to cook myself when I see someone else enjoying it so much. Crazy how easily you filled up those 25 minutes of cooking video with 'terrible' jokes and random stories. No awkward silences, no scrips. Dish looks great! Unfortunate that this is the age of 'information' and people's attention span is damn short, all the heavy edited short cooking videos will be viewed more.

The thumb and forefinger test is not a one size fits all rule, this will vary widely depending on the cut of steak you are using. Also, I would do some reading about cattle rearing in England and the US. The flat rule of corn fed vs grass fed is not accurate. All mainstream cattle finishers use concentrates and what cattle are fed during the process of getting to slaughter weight varies within both countries.

So I commented before reading the actual comments. I should have known better than to read YouTube comments, but what can you do. Sad to see all the people hating on this guy. He annoyed me at first as well, but then I realized he is just a passionate guy that loves what he does and enjoys life. How can you hate that? Finding fault in this fellow says a lot more about the commenter than the host.

This is the funniest episode on Food Tube ever. Love that the camera guys and directors can have a conversation! Kind of reminds me of Jamie's Naked Chef when someone off camera would talk to him and ask him questions, loved that! Wish DJ BBQ would do a vegan recipe though! BBQ isn't just for meats you know! :P

That producer/director should shut the fuff up. Can you get 5 spice anywhere? Dude has never cooked or been in a shop in his life, apparently. Or maybe he's just nervous and this is his first gig. Eager to impress perhaps. Good vid despite that!

It's a shame I can't find five spice anywhere near where I live (In Sweden, so basically in the deep forest. I've seen some guides on internet doing it yourself. But is it any good? If not, pleeeease toss some of it over here! I'll be waiting.

Dude, you just crosscontaminated everything. You didn't wash your hands after touching the raw meat, and proceeded to touch tongues, kettle, seared steak, pepper (and everyone putting fingers into the pepper, noodles, veggies etc. etc.

Pickled ginger is used traditionally to mask the smell of the raw fish, and it is a digestive aid. Not that it does not cleanse the palette, in fact it has taken that role solely in the US sushi culture.

The ingredients are right but the way this guys made it completely wrong. Maybe he likes to eat the dish as a salad dish but I recommend to have it in a large bowl. He turned my fav dish into a big mess.
