From what I've seen potato starch is the more common breading for stuff like this. though where I live I'd have to go with corn starch which is MUCH easier to find. I have to either order potato starch online and have it shipped to my house or find a decent international food store because most of the places where I live don't carry potato starch at all.

What do you recommend as frying oil My bf complains that he has to change the oil so often (like every 4 uses) he uses sunflower oil atm (or canola, not really sure) Is there a better oil that needs less changing?
