Welcome to Gochujang Mam YouTube Channel! I am a Mom to a blended Korean / Mexican American family that loves to share what I cook in my home. I am still learning and enjoy the process of making home cooked food. Today I am making an extra creamy cheesy mac n cheese. This can be baked or just served right out of the pot to keep it extra creamy. This cheese sauce is so easy make and taste great! INGREDIENTS 1 lb (454 g) elbow macaroni 2 Tbsp butter 1/4 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp salt (optional) 8 oz (226 g) softened cream cheese 12 oz (354. 88 mL) half cream and half whole milk (or 12 oz can of evaporated milk) 8 oz (226 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese if baking, use a 9x13 baking dish bake 450 F for 10 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly on top - In preheated sauce pot on a medium low heat add butter, paprika, onion powder and heat for 30 seconds - Now add softened cream cheese, whisk until completely melted and creamy - Then add half and half (or evaporated milk) combine well - Add shredded cheddar cheese, stir and combine until cheese sauce is smooth and creamy - Remove from heat or turn heat to lowest setting until ready to use - In a pot of 2 1/2 to 3 quarts of boiling water add 2 Tbsp salt, mix and add elbow macaroni - Stir and bring water back up to rolling boil then cook for 10 minutes or until desired doneness - Drain water from elbow macaroni - Now combine elbow macaroni into cheese sauce - Mix well and serve - This easily serves 6 to 8 single servings

You are a very SENSIBLE cook, I think like you do on why add something to a recipe that makes no sense and doesn't enhance the taste! This Mac and Cheese is perfect other than I add Black Pepper, and if you don't like that because it is noticeable, then use White Pepper. Also as a short cut Velveeta already has enough milk and is creamy and is blended with several cheeses and taste great. THANKS again for your great recipes that you thoroughly explain!

I strongly recommend aged cheese for this dish. Not only are aged cheeses more flavourful than regular cheese, but also far creamier and butterier, leaving out the need for heavy cream. For sensitive tastes, there are milder cheeses to choose between in the aged spectrum. Give macaroni and aged cheese a try. As for the cheese, I'd use one resembling brie; as for the crust, some panko and grated parmesan.

I've been making mac/cheese for years-it's a cultural meal for special occasions-While I usually add eggs-I notice the cheese doesn't stick to the noodles-I'm going to try this way today-While the mac didn't really looked backed-it's a personal preference and doesn't take away from this awesome video. Thanks making Mac/Cheese-right now!

I love cheese & never thought I would say this but. I followed the recipe exactly & it was way too much cheese. It was creamy at first but quickly became like glue when you served it. It was overkill. I will try this recipe again but will half the cheese portions because wow! It was not good as is IMO

I watched many mac n cheese videos and everyone of them were different than one another but this one was the best so far. The only problem is, now I need to convert ounces and fahrenheit to grams and celcius. If you also indicated those in parantheses, that would be awesome but still, I liked it

This mac came out well! It had a great texture. Personally I found the cream cheese to be a pretty overpowering flavor (I went double on the spices but didn't seem to help. Next time I'm going to opt for 2/3 the amount of cream cheese and add extra milk instead.

Just made this at 4 am as part of my families meal prep for my work week. I work over night 10 hours and be totally exhausted. I prepare a few meal choices so they can stay away from so much quick processed foods. Great combination of flavors. Thanks!

I was so sad to find out this recipe wasn t a hit in my household. My family said it had a strong tangy taste because to the sour cream and disliked it because of that. Everyone has different taste buds though. I love your other recipes!

Thank you. I had a tooth pulled out and was feeling miserable. So I wanted mac and cheese. Haven't had it in years so I had no idea how to make it. When I get the implant. I might want to make it again. Thank you. Comfort food.
