Today I am making a holiday cornbread dressing. Or do you call it cornbread stuffing? Ingredients 1 1/2 cups self-rising yellow cornmeal 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup cooking oil 3 large eggs 1 cup milk 8 x 8-inch baking dish 3 ribs celery 1/2 bell pepper 1/2 onion 3 cloves garlic 3 Tbsp butter (for dressing) 2 tsp chicken bouillon powder 2 tsp poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp rubbed sage 3 cups low sodium chicken broth salt and pepper to taste buttered 2-quart baking dish (for dressing)

Mine is a bit quicker. I mix a little more water or milk into the cornbread mix and fry it like pancakes. It is real quick. then I can just crumble as it also cools quicker and can then add the other items in to make the dressing. Bake and done.
