Sometimes, cooking for one just has to be quick and easy. Here's a quick meal idea when you are hungry and don't want to cook. This microwave egg hack also makes this meal easier. Summer: I had just finished your chicken pozole video when the blue dot showed up by your name and I thought, well I know there s nothing new, I just watched her newest video, and then I see this. Yayyyyy lol you re so beautiful inside and out and your food is next level! Thank you for sharing your talents with the world!

That's actually not a new egg hack. That's out of the OLD Better Homes and Gardens Microwave All Time Favorites cookbook. My mom had that book. She got so mad at me when I was 14 (roughly 87) when the egg exploded in her brand new microwave. I never cooked an egg in the microwave again. It was a mess.

Microwave hack that's been going around? We have been doing it since the first home microwaves came out in the 80s, used to do it in a coffee cup, I use butter then break the egg into the cup and use a fork to scramble it hit one minute and use a clean for to put it on your plate

Looks good. Have you ever tried those pre cooked sliced chicken breast? I think that would be a great addition for me. Just a little extra protein to get me through the night. I like yo eat, my addiction. ha ha. great job on the video!

I scramble the egg into the rice and microwave it all together and then drizzle with chili oil. Quick, low effort, savory, fills me up so I can function. Sometimes that's all you need.

Try adding a little bit of sesame oil on top after mixing everything then add some seaweed and sesame seeds at the end. it s a game changer

Is this an Asian thing? I m half Japanese and we grew up eating a lightly fried egg over rice with shoyu, sometimes with Spam on the side

You should see the crud I whip up when I don't feel like cooking. No judgement at all. I even got my kid to like some of it.
