Today I have compiled some of my favorite chili con carne recipes perfect for dinner. These stewed meat recipes are a hearty delicious way to stay warm this winter. Ingredients for chili colorado/ chili con carne 2 to 2. 5 lbs (907 g to 1. 13 kg) beef chuck roast 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 3 Tbsp (45 ml) cooking oil 1/2 small onion (diced) 5 cloves garlic (minced) 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp ground cumin 4 1/2 to 5 cups (1. 06 to 1. 18 L) low sodium beef broth 5 guajillo chiles (or New Mexico chiles) 1 pasilla chile 1 chile ancho 1 tsp Mexican oregano salt and pepper to taste Green Chili Stew INGREDIENTS 7 Hatch Green Chiles 2 1/2 to 3 lbs of pork shoulder 3 medium-sized potatoes 1 cup of diced onion 1 jalapeno 1 tsp Mexican oregano 4 cloves garlic 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp onion powder 2 tsp ground cumin 4 cups chicken broth 4 oz crushed tomato (or 3 or 4 Roma tomatoes) salt and pepper to taste Ground BEEF CHILI INGREDIENTS 3 lbs (1. 361 kg) ground beef (I used 85 / 15 fat to meat ratio) 1 medium to large onion finely chopped 5 cloves garlic minced 6 Tbsp (40 g) chili powder (I used McCormick Brand) 3 tsp (7 g) smoked paprika 3 tsp (8 g) garlic powder 3 tsp (8 g) onion powder 3 tsp (7 g) ground cumin 3 Tbsp (49. 5 g) tomato paste 7 cups (1. 65 L) low sodium beef broth 1 chipotle pepper in Adobo sauce 2 Tbsp Adobo sauce from can of chipotle peppers 2 - 15 oz cans pinto beans (drained and rinsed) salt and pepper to taste For cornstarch slurry 4 Tbsp (35 g) corn starch 4 Tbsp (60 ml) cold water

This is fanflipintastic next weekend I will be making the green pork chili, I will be using white beans, garlic, peppers and onions and cilantro, etc. with warm, fresh lime rubbed tortillas and a sprinkle of salt. I d like a great green chili with pork. I haven t had since 1971 at a birthday party. Was very good. The guy didn t havehiswife made the chili.

Love Frito pie. Also love beans in my chili. Can't wait to try the Carne recipe. I have a beer can chili recipe that my family loves.

I only like beef chili & as frito chili pie & smothering tamales, both with shredded cheese melted on top. oh & enchiladas!
