Get your copy of the Eating Thai Food Guide NOW: (Click Link) Bangkok is a city full of delicious cuisine but one of my all time favorite spots for eating is the Wang Lang Market ) located adjacent to Siriraj Hospital in central Bangkok. Along with a clothing market, there are a host of cheap sit down restaurants and countless street carts serving some of the tastiest Bangkok street food tours. In this video I start off by taking the boat from Tha Chang pier near Bangkok's famous Grand Palace (and Wat Phra Kaew, which costs just 3 Thai Baht and takes just 2 minutes, across the Chao Phraya River. As soon as you get off the boat, the Wang Lang Market is right there, ready to be explored. The first thing I sample is from a small street cart serving what I think is some of the best deep fried pork (moo tod ) in Bangkok. It's moist and and extremely flavorful and goes very well with a bag of black sticky rice. After that I sit down at one of the many Isaan food restaurants and ordered som tam Thai kai kem, regular papaya salad (som tam thai, smoked catfish salad, and nam tok made with beef. Wang Lang Market wouldn't be the same without a few sweet treats too. There are many Thai desserts to choose from, but I chose to try one of the most famous Khanom Tungtag ) stalls in all of Bangkok. The dessert is similar to a waffle that is cooked on a griddle and then topped with sweetened shreds of coconut. Taking a Bangkok street food tour to the area of Siriraj Hospital is one of the most rewarding ways to eat delicious Thai cuisine for cheap

This market is well known to Thai. I wondered who you talked to? I'm sure that this uploader has nothing to do with a financial interest in this market lol. This market is packed with hundreds of food stalls and sellers. If the uploader is related to the market in terms of 'a family', then he might has the biggest family members in the world You're funny man. I can guarantee that the uploader DOSE NOT own this market for 100% sure.

To anyone going to Thailand: get his eBook (101 Things to do in Bangkok) Just for the GoogleMap linked with it it's worth it (it's only 4. You get a list of the name of the places in english and Thai (print that useful for Taxi drivers, you click on it and the map points you exactly where it is. A major time savior in planning. Thanks Mark, I barely started to read and I'm already super enthusiastic

I went to Thailand in October last year for 3 weeks, stayed in Bangkok and then to the Northeast to meet my family. I actually liked the street food the best because for the 3 of us it was under 10 USD. My favorite is Konom Krok and Issan sausage. Also, My aunt has her own noodle soup shop in Surin. I grew up on thai food here but not the same eating in Thailand lol

I like that you choose dishes then praise them. I think that you're honest about it. but sometimes I think - he can not love all the food he tries. I understand why you're so happy, I love Thai and Asian food too. Tell me if you plan to interview foreigners who come to Thailand, do you think will be a different picture?

Do you ever get sick from eating the street food? I live in Australia, but am Bangladeshi heritage wise, whenever I go over to Bangladesh. I can't resist the street food But I always get sick from it Like nasty runs and what not hahah. Doesn't this ever happen to you, going all the places that do you?

I thought it was cool too, the shop is at her house in the village and most of the ingredients are grown in her garden. The one thing I miss eating the most is the thai cotton candy, I think it is made from a pandan dough and the filling is hand spun sugar because you can't find it in the US.

Hey, man, I was just wondering, how much Thai have you learned since you've been there? I notice you'll put the Thai names of the food in your videos. I would love to see you do a video in which you talk about how you ended up traveling in Asia doing what you're doing. Much respect, AB.

Hey, thanks a lot for watching and for the suggestion. I have had some plans to make some videos about doing what I'm doing and about living, so I'll try to put some together in the future. As for Thai I have learned some, but I'm engaged to a Thai female and she writes the Thai for me

Hey Jay, I guess we can never be certain exactly what we're eating anywhere, but Thailand and the street vendors do take sanitary procedures quite seriously. My body is also quite accustomed to the food on the street of Asia, so maybe I don't worry so much. Have you been to Thailand?
