i have been watching your videos for more than 2 years now. And i probably seem like a fangirl who pretty much stalks you on the internet. However I really mean this from the deep of my heart; I love your videos, and I love how you make a food look like it is the most delicious food on earth, like I said a million times before, this is a talent. i also respect the fact that you almost always reply to my comments, which most of the youtubers do not. i think you are the only youtuber that I respe

LOL then I bet you'll enjoy more Asian food than American. Anyway, my favorite food at Or Tor Kor is the Rama Rice (khao praram long song. It's not at the main food hall in your video, but it's off to the side of the market. If you haven't tried it yet, you really shouldAlso, the pork skewers (moo ping) in the main market is dam good. They give you big chunky pork instead of thin, flattened pieces. If you go at the right time when they just finished grilling a batch, its heavenly

Now that I think about it, it may have been at Sapanmai. Our daughter lived in near thanon Sai Mai. One is across the street from Central General Hospital and Clinic (I think. My wife had some tests done there. We went to that talat a couple of times to eat. The other is newer, but I can't remember exactly where it is. It could be along thanon Lat Phrao, but I'm not sure. I'll check with the kids and get back to you on both.

Another great video. That place is a must, looks like a good way to ease newcomers into Thai markets. Then once addicted, hit them with the hardcore street market LOL I am starting to think you have a secret Durian fetish, but must admit its a fruit that inspires a reaction, you either adore it, or hate it. However, there are so many fruits to choose from in Thailand, its a healthy paradise for fruit lovers

Yes, you're right. I think it's because I when I moved to Asia I cut our all the processed food, and I don't eat any cheese, not as much meat, and in Asia I eat more vegetables and more fruit and probably do more walking. I also do eat a little less than what I used to be able to eat when I was in the States. I think it's really that I don't eat processed foods anymore.

Hi, first time in Bangkok. I noticed you said that 50 baht in this upscale place is a bit higher than your average meal. Yet the street food I've been getting in Sukhumvit and and Khao San areas has been around 50 on the low end and 65 on the high end. The video is from 2012, have prices increased since then, or am I just going to the wrong places?

Yes I like Durian, its hard to describe the taste, as it seems to vary between fruits, but so looking forward to the great fruit choices there. I'm dieting as gave up smoking two years ago, so piled weight on. Now trying to lose some before I hit Thailand, so have room to expand with all of the great street food

There is the rules to eating Durian. Should never eat Durian with alcohol. There is some chemical reaction would be effect to your body and may kill you. The durian's high sulphur content actually impairs alcohol breakdown because it turned off the activity of aldehyde dehydrogenase. Yummy but wisely eating.
