Hey Ying & Mark, Well, I'll be damned. I never would have expected to see you two eating Spam in one your videos Growing up in Australia, I only used to have it on sandwiches. That was until my Malaysian wife fried some one day. Now, there's always a can of it in our pantry in case we're out of bacon. Mark, I believe your having a birthday this week? I'd like to wish you all the best mate. Perhaps a Durian infused cakeJim.

I never wanted leave the North Shore when I stayed in Pupukea. The stop and shop food options are some of the healthiest in the US. And with Ahi Poke in 99 styles at every grocery store you can never not afford to eat something tasty. Makes me want to fly back now, especially with the low cost airfare right now out of the West coast. I really hope to see some more HI stuff

Mark, if you are still in Oahu try Iyasume Musubi in Waikiki. It is a Japanese musubi house that sells a variety of musubi like spam, salmon roe and many more. They use premium rice so their musubi is amazing. I love spam musubi and this by far, the best. Also try Matsumoto shave ice in Haleiwa. It's a shaved ice mecca. Probably one of the most famous.

Paalaa Kai market is actually in Waialua near Haleiwa. Their fried chicken is mean. The skin is the best part. So crispy it's like eating chicken skin chips. But you gotta go earlier in the day before the chicken gets old and loses the crispness and the meat dries out. And since you're there, gotta go next door and get the Snow Puffies at the bakery.

Once in a while, I stop by that store to get hard boiled duck eggs. I agree that the take out food is a bit oily, but definitely classic beach food. Omgosh Ying totally made this video Lmao Ying, when spam musubi is made right, it tastes heavenly I am enjoying your Hawaii videos in between your newer videos. Aloha

These comments about ying saying the spam tastes like dog food is ridiculous. I'm sure she never ate dog or had dog food. It's the smell of dog food that will give off the taste of it. If she don't like it than why will she like dog food? Smh. I don't like spam also. It's all processed meat. Not my favorite.

How do you know it tastes like dog food. I mean, you have tried dog food before? Btw, saying dog food you mean food for dog, right? Not food that is made our of dog meat. True? Don't get me wrong, cause I have heard that some South East Asian countries eat dogs, so, I was just wondering.

I was laughing so hard at your wife's reaction because it just reminded me of how my husband reacts when I give him odd foods to try. I woke him up from his nap just to see her haha She's a gem, please try and convince her to be on camera more: D

Did Ying really not like it? Mai ow is what she said, Lol. I lived in Hawaii as a kid and still get spam cravings, and even more, Portuguese sausage. I don't know if that type of sausage is available on the mainland. Any idea, Mark?
