TABRIZ, IRAN - One of my favorite cities we visited during our trip to Iran, was Tabriz, located in Northern Iran. The food, people, culture, and ancient bazaar were all the highlights. In this video, we take you on a Iranian street food tour of the ancient bazaar of Tabriz. #Iran #Tabriz #streetfood Bazaar of Tabriz - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East, its also one of the best preserved and most authentic. What was amazing to me is how its still in full functioning use, still used in much of the same exact way as its been used for hundreds of years. There are sections of the bazaar for everything - from spices and food, clothes and woodwork. But one of the most fascinating parts of the bazaar is the carpets bazaar, where youll find some of the best hand made Persian carpets in the world. Tabriz is known around the world for its exquisite carpet making. Tabriz Central Mosque - Bazaar of Tabriz - In addition to the amazing Iranian food, we also visited the Tabriz Central Mosque. Haj Ali Kebab - One of the most famous and best restaurants in Tabriz is Haj Ali Kebab, where youll find some of the best kebabs in Tabriz. The kebabs were so incredibly juicy, especially with Persian style butter rice, and some roasted tomatoes and sumac. It was a wonderful lunch within the ancient bazaar. Shazdeh Restaurant - Along with plenty of street food snacks, our final Iranian food meal at the bazaar was at Shazdeh Restaurant, and one dish you cant miss are the kufta Tabrizi, one of the ultimate dishes of Tabriz. It was an amazing day, and a throwback in time, learning about and discovering the ancient bazaar of Tabriz, Iran Thank you to Ghasr Setareh for arranging our trip to Iran

I am from Mashhad. I am a Persian speaker. But as you go to the north West of Iran, the number of people who speak Persian decreases and people tend to speak Turkish much more. Also Tabriz is near Turkey's border while Mashhad is near Turkmenistan's border. We have foods such as Shashlik which also exist in some south Russian countries. But Tabrizis beat us in cuisine. and it is impressive because you want to imagine no one can beat the Mashhadis with their food industries but Tabrizis beat us. Their cuisine consists of a lot of sour flavors if you will. We also weave carpets in Mashhad and they also do. All in all we are very near in everything and there is no clear winner in most areas. They are specialized in some things, we are in other things and each of us represent part of the Persian culture. I tell you the Tabrizis win against Mashhadis with their traditional foods.

You should seriously consider cutting down your run time Mark. You're slowly Increasing the length. I have not even watched your last 3 videos. 15-25 is when you can keep audience engaged. At least I can talk about myself. Please get be back to your videos. One way to do it is to cut down the length

that huge dollop of golden yellow butter on a plate brought to the table while they were served the kebab and rice. that amount would usually last me more than a month's supply. and yet they just drizzled it into the rice. wow. I can imagine one gets lubricrated very well internally.

Iran is a great country. I spent a month there over ten years ago. My family told me not to go because they thought it would be dangerous. Just the opposite. Amazing people. I went to the same market in Tabriz but in the summer. I hope to visit again someday.

My biggest saute pan is like, maybe 14. I would literally take on an assassination contract for something a meter wide. BTW, been to Iran twice: once in the 70's - while it was run by that CIA maggot, the Shah and 4 years ago. The food is unreal good.

So so expensive for Iranians this liver portion was, 500000 Rials is the wages of one day hard work, equivalent to a portion of a dirty cafe foodBefore the revolution this food was only 50 Rials and the income was 1000 Rials per day

1. 15: 30 A lactose intolerant person would die just entering the front door of that place. 2. Fresh honey is one of the tastiest neatest things on earth in my opinion considering how its made.
