On Day 7 in South Korea, my wife and I were in Jeonju, South Korea. For lunch we had the ultimate version of Korean bibimbap, which is rice mixed salad, and a dish Jeonju is very famous for. For the remainder of the day, we visited some of the most famous attractions in Jeonju. 00: 41 300Zip ) for breakfast - We woke up in the morning and started off the day with a trip to a famous restaurant called 300Zip ) to eat a Korean Jeonju dish called gukbap, which is a bean sprout and rice soup. The soup included rice, bean sprouts, eggs, sesame seeds, and some other small vegetables. Additionally it was served with another fried egg on the side. It was a soothing way to start the morning in Jeonju. 3: 57 Lunch at Gajok Hoegwan ) - For lunch we went to this restaurant which is legendary in Jeonju for serving an original version of bibimbap, Korean mixed rice salad. The bibimbap cost 12, 000 Won (10. 05) per person, and it included an unbelievable mixture of colorful toppings. I thought it was amazing to watch them making the bibimbap, all within brass personal pans, heated on the stove at just the right temperature, and all the ingredients delicately added to the bibimbap. It was one of the best versions of bibimbap Ive ever had. It was so simple, yet because of the variety of ingredients and the combination, thats what made it complex. 10: 51 Jeonju Hanok Village - One of the most famous things to do in Jeonju is to walk around the Jeonju Hanok Village, the old village of the city. Its one of the main attractions that people from all over Korea come to see and experience. There are many things to do within the Jeonju Hanok Village including lots of snacks and restaurants, a hand made paper factory, all sorts of museums, and a number of shrines. Another one of the highlights of visiting the hanok village is to get dressed up in traditional Korean hanbok clothing, and walk around and take photos. So Ying and I rented costumes and walked around. The best Korean snack I had while walking around the village was an skewer of grilled octopus covered in cheese. I never thought the combination would go together so well, but somehow it worked really well. 23: 18 Gyodong Tteokgalbi ( ) Restaurant - For dinner we ate at a restaurant within the Jeonju Hanok Village known for serving tteokgalbi, which is a Korean dish of minced short ribs, marinated and grilled on your tabletop. It was my first time to have this Korean dish, and along with all the different side dishes and vegetables, it was delicious. Day 7 in Korea was an amazing day of visiting attractions in Jeonju and eating one of the most complex and delicious bowls of Korean bibimbap that Ive ever tried. Disclaimer: My trip to Jeonju was sponsored by the Jeonbuk Centre for International Affairs

I can see why they are mostly thin people. They eat vegetables for breakfast for lunch and other than your custard, I don't see many calories. I've been addicted to Kdramas for years. Your gak is made out of bamboo and the nobles wore them. The bigger the rim, the more important your were. Ying's hanbok is beautiful. They should have done her hair. Only married women in Joseon could wear a certain kind of hair ornament. I envy you guys. I will have to look up where Jeonju is. What a lovely village. I've always wanted to buy one of those hanbok's and eat bibimbap: ( Thank you for all you do. Both of you. You must get tired at times and Ying. Once thing I worry about though is the stripping of the octopus from the ocean. I notice the baby octopus they eat live and now you show this to us. They also are stripping the oceans of abalone. Baby ones are really expensive in Korea but that's all people are able to find most of the time. When I was a girl in San Diego my brother Steve dove for abalone. I thought they were too tough. And they were at least ten inches across. That was in La Jolla cove and that area. When he went back a couple years later, he could hardly find any. Both species just aren't having time to grow because humans are stripping the oceans We've got to stop Mark. For our children's sake and the sake of those species. Out of sight out of mind is just dodging the issue. :( Songs

Finally an honest and direct review I know not all meals are great everywhere (and youtubers are under pressure to be gracious, but it was nice to hear your honest opinion of the hollowed out burger (which tasted like a fast food burger. I don't have the time or money to visit every destination you visit, so constructive criticism helps.

I can't believe how much you eat It's about 10 times what I eat in a day. You are so thin. Do you ever get funny tummy when you visit othere ciuntriess? They are so generous with the side dishes and little additives. Also, what they make is made with such pride but humility at the same time. The people are so friendly.

South Asians looks always awesome and cute. I am from India where every religion comes stay and teaches about their beliefs. Ahh what is my actual originality? Basically I am an agnostic but I love when people explore and make something new and creative. >_<: )

I wish we had seen this vlog before going to Jeonju, your bibimbap looks amazing. And the array of real Korean banchan was impressive. Our experience was not the same. I think we need to go back to Jeonju if only to have bibimbap. Thank you for the vlog.
