For more details about traveling to Koh Samui head over to my blog at Day 4 in Koh Samui, we stayed at Lazy Days Samui Beach Resort, just down the beach from Lamai and only a 5 minute walk from Hin Ta Hin Ya, the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks. After waking up and having breakfast, I had some work I needed to get done, so we sat in the room for a while and did some work until leaving at about 10 am to go to Hin Ta Hin Yai, which is one of the most famous landmarks and attractions in Koh Samui. Since we were staying on the other side of Hin Ta Hin Yai ) from the main entrance, we came kind of the back way, up the side of the beach and had to do a little rock climbing to the viewpoint. It was pretty obvious to see where Hin Ta Hin Yai, the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks were located. I thought Grandfather rock looked like it, but Grandmother rock was like any other rock in the world. Anyway, its one of the most famous viewpoints in Koh Samui, and its often included in all the tours of the island. I think it was worth a quick visit. After Hin Ta Hin Yai, we took a walk over to Lamai beach and walked along the ocean. I think the ocean at Lamai beach was better than at our hotel, which was just one rock beyond Lamai. For lunch we headed over to Sabeinglae Restaurant, one of the most famous restaurants in Koh Samui for seafood and for Samui speciality dishes. Its a nicer end restaurant, not a street food restaurant, but after yesterdays bad meal, I was ready to eat a delicious meal. Most of the menu was in both Thai and English, but I noticed that there were a few items that were only listed in Thai - maybe they thought only Thais would enjoy them? Anyway, we ordered some of the speciality foods at Sabeinglae Restaurant. Wai khua, squid in coconut milk, which was not really a curry, but more of a just a thick coconut gravy, was one of my favorite dishes of our meal - the squid was so incredibly tender and the sauce was extremely buttery. Another special dish at is Sabeinglae Restaurant ) moo khua koy, pork stir fried with shrimp paste - krill shrimp paste. I didnt care for it, it was way too sweet - it almost tasted like pork fried with applesauce. Finally, I just couldnt resist ordering a red snapper steamed with lime juice, chilies and and garlic. The fish was fresh, and it was excellent. Overall, the food at Sabeinglae Restaurant ) was pretty good. I didnt care for the pork dish, but the seafoods dishes were all quite good. It was a little expensive, but it was our splurge meal for our trip to Koh Samui. For dinner that night, we just had a simple meal at a restaurant down the road from our hotel. Sabeinglae Restaurant ) is located right next to Hin Ta Hin Yai in Koh Samui. 4169 ( ), , 84310 10. 00 - 22. 00. . 077-233-082, 077-233-083 That completes Day 4 of our short trip to Koh Samui

Right, the p rock. I am just worried yes and no, not about the p rock but more towards the video that I saw recently with your baby. This video was made without the baby yet, I guess. Your baby, I watched in the previous video seemed was not happy or something else and something bothered me when I saw him. He seemed not very healthy. I never saw couple like you travel all over the places and with new born baby in your previous video. Really bad and also nutritiously wise, I don't think that is a good idea. Also, most veggies, food, starch, meat other than they are not organic, have been enhanced with lots of sugar and other food chemicals. I am just telling the truth. I have thought about it and I decide to write this. People are afraid to tell the truth and also FDA would be keeping the secret of the food, drug and chemical that they administer daily to the people and to the sick as well. Just too much trauma. I am watching these videos just wondering what all these countries' food is and what it is that there is an uprising of diseases, symptoms and traumas.

I tried Sabeinglae Restaurant 3 months ago, it was amazing. The food me and my family ordered was the tamarind prawns, wai Kua (tastes like clam chowder but with octopus in it, papaya salad (it was alright, deep fried soft shell crabs, sea mushroom curry, and crab fried rice. Although the dishes were kind of expensive like Mark said on the description but its a nice place you got to try and not to miss when you visit Samui, its really good. I mostly recommend Wai Kua and the Sea Mushroom Curry. My favorite was those two.

The wife and I just ate there yesterday. For a sit down meal at a restaurant, it was the best food we've had so far in Samui. We sat at a table closest to the beach, which I do not recommend due to the smell of the stagnate puddle of ocean water that looked to have been fermenting there for quite some time, as well as all the after-meal cigarette smokers, that have to smoke right there near the base of the steps to the beach, adjacent to our table. But the quality of their food is excellent.

Went to Sabeinglae last night and had the Yam Sabeinglae, Was Khua and Played kampong dang nouns mango and they were also amazing Had to spend 1000THB minimum to use my Visa to pay so ordered a few of the basic items like Pad Thai which were also not so bad. But the dishes Mark had were so good. My wife officially said it was the best meal she ever had in her entire life haha, Thanks Mark: )

the sweet pork I think it was made with honey. I like that thaistyle But the bill is real to high. I was never on Samui (in over 20 years I visit and lived in the Country) but I think Maenam-Beach must have cheap resorts also. The area looks much more better then chaweng and lamai. Maenam is on my todolist. The eastcost, no, dont must have that.

You missed a great restaurant - Koh Kaew on the corner of the main road and the road down to Hin Ta Hin Ya. Not great decor or sea view, but gets a lot of repeat business because they make the best home cooked Thai food. We eat there at least 4 times a week during our winters in Samui.
