Little Caesars is easily the worst pizza in America. Hands down. I've vomited from eating it. The cheese is grade D. Mice won't eat it. Once a person eats L. C pizza they never eat pizza again. They sell Larges for 5 bucks and they still make a huge profit. Homeless people are like, no thanks I don't wanna crap my pants. We almost went to war with Italy but they heard we made pizza like ceasars and they felt bad and gave up, not because they were scared, but they didn't want to catch whatever Illness causes you to make pizza like that. Ceasars has a motto, if you can hold it down for an hour you get your money back. Do you notice how LC pizza tastes different than all other pizza? There's a reason for that, and it's not a good reason. My dog once smelled their pizza and asked if we were near the trash dump. It's the only time he's spoken. I walked into a location and asked why it smelled like vinegar and bleach and poisoned mummies. They were like, 'it always smells like that in here. ' A plane flew over ceasars once and 7 people died. Do you know why the Detroit Pistons are horrible and no one goes to their games? They play in Little Caesars Arena. It was going to be called, pizza pizza arena, but the towns people revolted. You know what else is revolting?

I see a lot of people hating on Little Caesars in here and honestly a bunch of you have no clue what you're talking about. If you don't like the pizza I understand. But to hate on the family that created it is just plain wrong. Mike Ilitch was a great person. He's one of the only people who constantly gave back to the city he grew up in. He served in the USMC and afterword played ball for the Tigers minor league team. He stopped playing ball after an injury. Another little known fact that most people didn't know till after he died was that he quietly payed Rosa Parks rent till the day she died. Just because, and he didn't ask for any publicity out of it. Honestly outside of his family I don't think anyone knew. Not only did he end up buying the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Red Wings (best team ever) he also started a program for the kids with the little caesars hockey program that has produced many NHL players including the first and only female player to ever play in the big league. Learn something folks.

The square pan owes it's roots to the Detroit auto industry. Back in the heyday of assembly lines such pans were used to contain small parts which would be used in the production of vehicles. Workers would often take these pans home where they would find their way into the kitchen as baking pans. Before long local pizza restaurants adopted the habit, and as they say the rest is history. Humble greatness, not unlike the city of its origin. I never thought knowledge of this fact would be useful, gotta love PBS.

Lived in Detroit for 17 years, after moving from NYC. I have to say Buddy's is pretty good, especially if you like the deep dish. They have amazing bread sticks. The Best. Little Ceasar's is awful. It's stuff you give to your kids because it's cheap and bland. Supino is really good too. I Like theirs the best because I like the thinner crust like NY. They don't mention it, but Jet's isn't bad for a chain I enjoy their BBQ Chicken.

I'm Italian and pizza to me is only the pizza you will see in this series when Frank goes to Italy which means pizza made by Italians the Italian way, whether if it is napoletana, romana or siciliana. But i must say i am intrigued by this look of Detroit style pizza. It looks good and makes my mouth water. Anybody wants to share their views on Detroit style pizza? Thank you

This guy is trippin if he thinks Buddy's pizza in Detroit has any kind of comparison to Philadelphia's identity with cheesesteaks. When people say Philadelphia, cheesesteaks will probably be in the first ten words they think of. When people say Detroit you could give people 500 words and i guarantee you won't hear Buddy's or probably even Pizza.

Everything's cool, everything's fine, except for this is not Pizza! Stop abusing of that name already, otherwise tomorrow morning I will post a video of myself eating some spread cheese into a couple of white fatty bread slices and some other topping shits inside and I'll pretend it to be a Philly sandwich. I think they were kind to him. Midwest older men like my dad. don-t seem to have palates for the type of pizza he offered. they-d eat a piece and like it, but would never order it, and it-s sad, but that-s heteronormativity and -I-m a strong man who can-t like dainty food-

The Ham in Michigan it didn't just turn the Polish ran out of Hum because Hamtramck went from Polish people too Muslim over night. I know my family is from Poland and live in Hamtramck had a Barkley in Hamtramck untill the 60's. My last name means Baker in Polish.

I agree Frank is the best host he-s gracious and enthusiastic -Rather than being smug and sarcastic like some of the others hosts he truly is interested in the people he meets And always open minded he would be the best host for all kinds of food shows
