I'll be in GDL next week. I can't wait to get some birria. There is no such thing as good birria in NYC and I have not had a good bowl since I moved away from Los Angeles. Los Angeles has a lot of Jalisco transplants so I grew up eating good birria. Best damn dish on earth.

I understand it was not intended to be an insult at all, but I must admit I am quite tired of equating a great location with beautiful women. and then simultaneously state how great the tequila and birria are, as if women are to be sampled and tasted similarly.
