The King of Falafel - Street Food Icons

King of Falafel & Shawarma has been serving mouthwatering Middle Eastern cuisine on the streets of Astoria for the last 17 years. The falafel recipe, with its unique oval shape, is a guarded secret of owner Freddy Zeideia, who mastered it with techniques he learned while growing up in Palestine. After being dissatisfied with the falafel and shawarma offerings in New York, Freddy took matters into his own hands by starting King of Falafel & Shawarma in 2002. Since then, his enterprise has grown, with a truck in Astoria, a cart in Midtown, and a newly opened restaurant in Queens. They also serve chicken over rice, kebabs, meatballs, and other Palestinian specialties. As Freddy would say, Yeah Baby! #streetfoodicons #streetfood #munchies

He Seemed like such a great guy, hard worker, earning his own way by making good quality, great-tasting food. I was all for him, But What a Shame he ruined it all when he brought Politics Lies and Victimhood into his own great story. And of course what Always follows that? ACCUSING the ISRAELI'S of stealing THEIR OWN land and pushing the completely debunked MYTH and FANTASY that somehow the Israelis 'stole' their own historical Jewish land? YET Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon do? But since we can't blame all of those Arab armies (who surrounded Israel and jointly came to destroy it in 67 but failed miserably. - To understand the name of 'Palestine' you have to twist the name given to ISRAEL in 135 A. D, BY THE ROMAN EMPORER HADRIAN. He, like modern day middle eastern Arab leaders, hated Israel so much that he wanted to wipe its name out of history after the Bar Kokhba revolt ( a Jewish Uprising against the Romans in 135 AD. - The Romans drove the Jews out of their own Historical homeland and that's when Hadrian changed the Land of ISRAELS name to SYRIA PALAESTINA, THEN HE ABSORBED ISRAEL INTO THE AREA THAT COVERED PARTS OF SYRIA that Hadrian was a prefecture of. IT IS THAT 135 A. D NAME THAT WAS TWISTED BY MODERN DAY ARAB NATIONS ALL THOSE YEARS LATER, DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR. ], IN ORDER TO PUSH THE MYTH THAT THERE WAS A HISTORICAL ARAB LAND CALLED 'PALESTINE'. THE ONLY PROBLEM with that, is that there has NEVER been a land called Palestine EVER. --THE LIES JUST NEVER END WHEN IT COMES TO HATING AND DELEGITIMISING ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE. --HOW SAD, HE CHOSE TO RUIN HIS OWN GREAT STORY ABOUT HIS JOB, UNNECCARILY, WITH ALL THOSE POLITICS, LIES AND FALSE VICTIMHOOD GAMES. FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN PROPAGATING HATE AND LIES AGAINST ISRAEL. TRAGIC!

Shoooot we are in America where there's a lot of ignorance that when you're around too much of these rude people that affects your heart you can get mad and act somewhat like them. Some will get out of hand to destroy lifes because they want to. The food looks good (video making me hungry) and you have a great personality.

I grew up 2 blocks away from his first cart in front of C-Town, been eating his food for ever since I can remember. This man is one of the best people I know. To this day his Falafel and chicken over rice is the best I ever tasted.

Why don-t we judge Muslims by guys like this. There are more Muslims like this that we interact with everyday and we might not have a clue yet we judge them based on foreign strangers that we have zero interaction with

How is this guy better at English than his son! Did this company force the son to quit pursuing education? Love that this business went successfully because he seems like a good person
