Farideh makes a colorful and summery manicotti, topped with greens and herbs from the MUNCHIES garden. For this baked pasta dish, she rolls up lasagna sheets, adds a lemony zucchini and squash filling, then sprinkles on mozzarella cheese. Topped with an herb and arugula salad, along with parmesan cheese, this vegetarian pasta is the perfect excuse to turn on your oven this summer

I was going to watch this right after it dropped, which was last night for me. -But I was full of French food and wine, so sleep happened first. -Oooooooooh Cannelooooni, I love them, spinach and Ricotta are my favourite. -Red sauce absolutely goes with this dish. -#zucchinibae. yeah not sure if that will catch on, worth a shot though. -Virginia you're a rockstar. -Last night I proved another case of cheese making something better, as a result of that, I ate 5 oysters. -All in the same of cheese, oh Farideh. -Winter in Australia, last night was pretty wet.

You could have made a cream sauce with garlic and white pepper, or a veloute cheese sauce with maybe Gruyerre. Either would have been really good under the salad topping, especially with the Nasturtiums and mustard flowers. Some deep-fried squash blossoms would have also really worked well, dipped in a tempura batter with horseradish or even real Wasabi powder then deep-fried for like 2 minutes each until they get a subtle crunch. I also think some garlic and onions should have gone in the saute with the squash.

Manicotti or man- a gut where I come from Brooklyn is a crepe and cannelloni is a stuffed pasta and this looks terrible and you actually had look up its water inside a zucchini and squash. Looks like you used garbage mozzarella or mutzadell how ever you want to say it. If you actually you went to culinary school should get your money back. You could have learned more in any Italian grandmothers kitchen in south Brooklyn and saved your self 10's of thousands

no red sauce? sounds like an invitation to do some pesto style thing, could also double up as a salad dressing. sort of like a pesto on top of the noodles, then -water down- the pesto with more oil as salad dressing and it'll all come together. you're the pro's though.

Havent started yet, but let me guess this video. Is she being all -edgy and random-? Is she swearing a lot and is she doing all this pretending like its actually a real personality? This woman is so basic I cant even believe it. You guys are just sucking it up lmao

The shaky camera was awful. I only made it to the 3 minute mark and then bailed. And I love to watch Farideh cook! That style of camera work is more annoying than the 'looking at the wrong camera when talking' technique. So 2015.

Had manicotti at a weeding like 20 years ago. Good shit. Make it once in a while ever since. So good. If you stuff the ready to bake type of noodles it's easier than lasagna imo. Haven't tried it with anything but my ragu tho.

i love you used your resources or looked up the answers to questions that came up during the segment. manicotti vs canneloni, what leaks from zucchini. ok ok back to the episode thanks everyone! Especially you, Man Aloney: (

More of Farideh please! She's really funny! I love the wine breaks in-between. Also wish you'd do another pizza show season somehow. Japan has some up and coming pizza places in Toyko.
