BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO VEGANISM how to go vegan octavius: Animal lives are not worth saving. Animals die every second on this planet for millions of years. Whether they die by eaten by human or by other natural predators is irrelevant because they suffer regardless. If you can't stop lions from eating sheep because that would be torturing the lions instead, then you can't stop human from eating meat, because to human meat is delicious too.
Suffering is unavoidable, just like death itself. Being eaten by human gives human the enjoyment of tasting the delicious meat, which is the only thing that gives meaning to the lives of countless animals. Otherwise they'll just live and die for absolutely nothing.
Besides, millions of cows, lambs, chickens, and pigs only exist on this planet in such huge number because the meat industry farms them. If human stop eating them, then there isn't incentive for human to provide food protection and shelter to these animals, and they will go extinct like many other species do. The relationship between human and domesticated animals is a mutually beneficial symbiosis, so the latter doesn't need your help.
Animal lives/rights/welfare are nonsensical arguments for you can't answer a simple question: what is the rationale? In other words, why do you want to make the animals be comfy and happy, and to what ends? How does this help human? There are plenty of human who are not comfy and happy right now, and you complain for a bunch of cows?
Sustainability is the only real issue with the meat eating diet, but this is something that can be improved by science and management. Besides, the future is not worth saving if humanity loses the freedom and enjoyment of a juicy ribeye.
I understand the passion that drives veganism, but it's just emotion and making yourself feel morally superior. Taking the emotions aside, you will see there is nothing logical or rational about veganism.
Vegans, I know you must hate a list of well-reasoned argument against you. Don't bother reply unless you have any logical and rational argument. Just do a thumb down and I'll take it as a million passionate swearing words.

Honestly. This will trigger some but I do hunt. Theres opinions on it and thats perfect. But, Im having health problems, I cant seem to loose any of the weight since I had a baby, I feel like Im getting fatter and Im extremely unfit and unhappy. I tried a vegan diet for a few days and felt better, saw some results with my body & then I fell off the wagon and Im feeling it. Im back, and Im wanting to really get into it.

I think being vegan is the right choice if you dont believe in human exceptionalism. Life should be valued on the level of sentience of the life. Veganism is not only the healthier choice its the moral choice. Im a hardcore meat eater myself but Im really considering veganism

Thank you! I want to do it for my health but what really made me felt kind of guilty is seeing so many videos of how us humans can be so selfish. Im compassionate and love animals.
