BECOMING A MORNING PERSON + printable guide Cindy: My morning starts at 5AM, I'll do my daily scripture reading and spend few minutes on journal writing while playing some soothing classical music on spotify to start my day. Then I'll go out for a jog then shower when I come back. I'll have simple breakfast then spend some extra 15-30 minutes reading my favorite novel. After that, I'll do my work and study. I don't scroll through social media nor email nor games on my phone in the morning except for alarm and checking the weather. I've been following this routine for a week now and it's pretty nice. I'm much more productive in the morning than in the afternoon: )

Hi, quick question! I try to wake up to pleasant music instead of obnoxious beeping sounds - however, if my ringer isnt set to full volume, I just dont hear it and I sleep through it. Because its so loud, I tend to turn it off by reflex as to not wake up my dad (who sleeps very lightly and isnt a morning person. Is there any way I can make it so I dont have to put on obnoxiously loud music to wake up?

I know this is 2 years old but. thank you for the free pdf. I took a quick look at the first couple of sections and it looks so organized and perfectly laid out, ready for me to use. Even this pdf will give me a little more motivation (an addition to the why power) to start the whole process. I am truly excited to become a morning person!

I'm not directly a morning person but I think I'm kind of. I mean, waking up at 5: 40 am to walk the dog half an hour before school even though I just have to leave at house at 7: 30, is kind succes for me: . Usually I would sleep till 6: 30 but now that I (have to) walk the dog, it has become kind of normal to wake up that early

I really liked her tip about changing her alarm sound. I have to admit, when my alarm goes off it does scare the living HELL out of me. I wouldnt mind trying something more pleasant but im afraid i wont hear it!
Update: It's only been two days and I've been trying the new alarm. I can hear it just fine: )

for the past two years ive been waking up at around 01: 30 am or 02: 30am. at the time when everyone else is still dreaming is when i feel i'm more productive. although i only have 4-5hrs of sleeping every night (because i go to bed at around 8 or 9pm max) i'd also take a quick nap in the afternoon.

Changing the alarm sound is a huge help. Instead of waking up with a near heart attack from that horrible screeching alarm, I changed my phone to birdsong, and it gradually gets louder until my bedroom is filled with birds singing. It's a super chill way to start the day.

Has anyone had any luck with this? Im totally nocturnal and its been pretty bad. Ive lost jobs because of it and its kind of ruining my life now that I have a baby. Its so hard.
