Sam. you talked about a coloured pitcher, which you have seen. In Asia, such a coloured plastic pitcher was originally a toothbrushing mug used by the lower-income group in China, India and many Asian countries very long ago. Then, this plastic toothbrushing mug evolved into a multipurpose big mug, mostly used to scoop water and storage in and out of the kitchen. Your assistant was correct in saying about drinks in plastic bags. In many Asian countries, roadside stalls selling drinks often put the drinks (mostly cold) into small plastic bags, tie it partially shut with a string, and stuck a straw into it. However, it was impossible to securely rest such a plastic bag on any surface. Hence, many Asians like to put that drink-filled bag into a small plastic bowl or that plastic pitcher you mentioned

I lived in Israel for 20 years. You buy your milk in a bag. It's delicious milk. And, yes, you put the bag in a pitcher/holder for the bag. You cut a little corner off on top of the bag. That's it! They also sell little bags of chocolate milk that are so amazingly delicious. I would go into the market, grab a little bag of 'choco' and bite a corner off and suck the fresh delicious ice cold chocolate milk. By the time you got to check out, the little bag was empty - everyone did this. And they were very cheap. Ahhhhh, memories. Missing Israel so much.

Love your videos. Ive been watching a ton of the new ones and then came across this one. Obviously different production than what Im used to and I thought this was a brand new version of your show. I thought oh no hes making this more complicated than it needs to be why did he change anything? Then looked at the date and was pleasantly surprised to see it was old and that you made your show simpler over the years and have got it down pretty much perfect at this point. Too many shows do the opposite, so thanks! Keep going.

Tonight I used 2 flat crescent rolls I didnt roll up into a crescent shape. They were from a can of refrigerated roll dough. I baked them according to the package directions before adding the garlic bread toppings. They were delicious. Somewhat thin, though that was a nice alternative. The toppings from this video worked out great; fresh minced garlic is really nice, though I omitted the parsley this time. I omitted the salt also. I had salted butter. H. Lloyd

You guys are so funny hahaha. Make it major production out of garlic bread. Reminds me when I was a boy and we would go to Tommy's Joynt in San Francisco. In order spaghetti. With garlic toast. You'd get a half a loaf of garlic bread done on on the stove top with a half order of a spaghetti. For about 2. 50. And they would always scoop the bread out of The Middle and put it on the flat top and weigh it down with real butter and real garlic yummy

And thanks for sharing, by the way I do know those pictures are jugs that youre talking about, in Canada yes we do put our milk bags in those standing whatever you wanna call it, pitchers or jugs LOL.

2014 to 2020 Sam has the same attitude and I love it haha EDIT: Asian guy did nothing for your older videos. Just an awkward guy in the back or his filming was far as shit. EDIT: Glad he isnt in any of your new stuff. How did he not enjoy this, guy must have a noddle in broth diet. Cheers from Canada.

I know this video is old, but it's new to me. I am the exact person he talks about with the horrible foil garlic bread in the store. well never again! I've made this at least 5 times in the past 10 days. Yeah it's great with pasta, but its a total game changer with sandwiches. I need bigger pants.

You lived in Canada and never knew milk came in bags? Yes the pitcher is for the milk bag, you have been Americanized way to long. Dam I would like some garlic bread right now, or at least some leaks and morels smothered in a egg omelet for breakfast. Maybe even French toast and maple syrup.
