Don't let the 'leftover' part fool you - these are ridiculous. Jimmie: Looks great! Thats pretty much how i make mine. I do it a bit different tho. I braise a few cheap cuts of steak about a cup of beef broth, later toss in the onion, mushrooms, peppers. I strain it and use the juice with a tsp of horseradish for dipping, my wife just eats it as is. I use a combo of swiss, mozza and monteray jack. I've tried the Wit Wiz and find it disgusting, LOL.

Why am I just finding you on YouTube? I loved your video, I am making this tonight. Although I do not have the grill you have on your stove, I have cast Iron and that works for me hands down. And by the way, I'm with you on the mushrooms and I use to live in Philly once upon a time in my youth and I like it just the way you rocked this sandwich. Thanks for the video.

That definitely looks much better than any cheesesteak you can buy in Philly. I'm from Pennsylvania. All those guys (Pat's, Geno's, etc) use a tiny thin sliver of meat, Pat's uses Cheese Whiz which is just an easy shortcut from putting real cheese on the sandwich and is loaded with sodium.

Hi there: -) My name is Nickie and I used to live in Philadelphia, PA for a few years. Philly is very famous for their cheese steaks. They actually do have a mushroom cheese steak, which is very good. I just wanted to share that with u. Take care! :-)

We dont put green bell peppers on our cheesesteaks in philly. Green bell peppers are only synonymous with cheesesteaks for people outside of philly who dont know any better. What you made was a steak slider, not a philly cheesesteak anything.

In case you care: a traditional Philly Cheesesteak is meat (ribeye shaved thin) cheese (Cheese Whiz, not kidding) and optionally grilled onion. Peppers and 'shroons are a non-Philly thing. Rest of the World doesn't care!

Is there any advantage to putting your food on the heat source and adding oil in top rather then oiling the cooking surface then adding the food? I noticed you oiled the food, not the griddle

Maybe you should try showing some respect towards your cameraman. He's there for you so show him some decency. Numerous videos show you telling him to backup. Don't be an ass!

? Says no sauce, that would be silly, then uses provolone cheese, but thinks people would prefer cheese whiz. at home cooks are just the most experienced cooks around! Not.
