Awesome
Are u really 'the cooking guy'? a lot of that looked borderline burnt/overcooked. No offense - u seem lk a stoner cook that's all. Maybe taste nice. I can help two things. One, let rice sit out in open for a few hours without lid and it dries nicely for fried rice, two, fry the paste 1st briefly as if it were tomato puree and ur making a rich tomato pasta. When gochujang change color (stirred about 3-4 mins med/high heat - it much richer, more flavor. Keep it up

Coffee filters make a good alternative to paper towels. Don't know if you have them on hand, but I thought I should throw it out there. BTW, love your vids. Always have enjoyed watching you, whether it's on the Kathy Lee and Hoda show, or on Youtube, you are just fun. You are helping to deliver us out of American Carnage one vid at a time.

damn, Sam -- you made this simple dish into a feast! i'd never heard of you before this week, but i am SO hooked. it might be the dogs, the spicy food, the great views from the windows and patio, your personality. but, nah -- it's that gorgeous orange backsplash! hahaha. (actually, it's all those things, and more)

Hi Sam. Here's a tip to get individual grains of fried rice. In a an empty pan, heat up the rice and then pour on top beaten eggs. The eggs act as a coating to the rice and you'll get perfect grains

You should try a hot bowl of rice with a spoonful of gochujang and just a drizzle of sesame oil and then top that with a fried egg& some dried seaweed. It's amazingggg!

I made chicken fried rice today. I just don't have a wok, I've been cooking it on a cast iron flat top grill. Is there an affordable brand of wok you would recommend?

I always see chefs make the horizontal cuts to dice an onion but I never have. I just cut vertically and let the natural layers of the onion create their own dice.
