OMG! When I was a little kid, my grandmother used to take me to a drive-in where they made breaded chicken livers with garlic. You got a paper cone of them for like 45 cents (Yeah, I'm that old. I was a picky eater, but I'd snarf down those garlicky livers like they were my last meal! Fantastic.

Yum! I love chicken liver and onions! As a young child, my grandmother always cooked them for me whenever she baked a chicken. Especially, at Thanksgiving, my treat was the turkey liver and onions. No one else in our family liked them. Just me and her. Good memories.

There is no better source for iron in your diet than poultry liver, far higher content than beef or pork. BTW, you shouldn't be eating more than a couple of pounds of poultry liver a week due to just how much iron is in them.

I'm interested in what you do, technically, as a cook. not at all interested making or eating them, especially in an omelet. and I've made pate' before. Hoping for some videos with more appeal to come.

I love fried chicken livers! My husband wont even kiss me after Ive eaten them. Ive only had them fried. I may need to broaden my horizon.
