Join me for a new TV episode of Sam The Cooking Guy, Tailgate Day! RECIPES: - Breakfast Bean Benedict - Pork Sandwich - Chile Verde with Pork Garth: Interesting combination for the chili verde pork. Have always used the Herdez green chili sauce in our Chili Verde recipe but never thought to combine green enchilada sauce with it. Baked beans always seem to need a kick of some sort, brown sugar, bacon, that course mustard, onions, garlic or whatever. interesting that you went to the trouble to let everyone know they are better with some slight additions. You can leave the music, it's no bother and creates a rhythm of anticipation of what's next, at a very low volume. All is good.

Hey Sam, Another great video as always. Say, I fairly new to the whole cooking world, and at 44 years old, I'm a little late to the party. My question is why in some videos you use oil to toast your buns, and others you butter the bun. If the goal is to simply toast the bread, why the difference? Or is their another purpose? I'd love to hear why. Thanks much.

This looks fantastic and so delicious. My husband will flip over this. He loves all things chili. The sandwich will be a big hit for him but I have my eye on the whole chili verde' over rice. Frickin Fantalicious!

obviously never been to a tailgate in his life. love the guy but if you're at a tailgate that requires bowls and spoons the point of tailgating went completely over your head. you can do better.

Sam when I make chili from a boston but I trim all the fat off first and then slowly on the lowest light render down the pork fat then remove what doesn't render down n brown it in it's own fat.

Sam, I love the show and all of your recipes, but this episode makes it abundantly clear that you do not tailgate very often. LOL. Keep up the great work.
