The best pulled pork? Man THAT is a bold statement about pulled pork. You're gonna have to step wayyy up on this one. 09: 00 Looks like the rubber seal inside the lid didn't seat. Could just need adjusting and/or cleaning the seal and around it. I have a similar problem sometimes the seal doesn't set right. I just take it out, put it back in and it's fine. Also check your valve to ensure it's in the closed position and not vent position. Personally I would want some smoky flavor to the pork. Since it didn't happen on a grill/smoker. I would have added either smoked paprika and/or a quality liquid smoke.

In a pressure cooker you need to be sure that there is plenty of liquid. When you brown in the pot, if there is ANY thing on the rim, the cooker can not come to pressure because there is something inhibiting the seal. If you get a burn notice, deglaze with additional liquid so there are no bits on the bottom of pan. If you see steam coming out, the pressure will never build enough to lock. You need to open the pot, clean the rim, make sure the gasket is in place, check bottom for bits, you may need to deglaze and add some additional liquid. Then try again to pressure cook. Hope this helps.

Did you grow your own onions? Did you grow and cold press your own olives? Did you raise and slaughter your own pig? Lol Just giving ya shit lol I love pulled pork but I love to use a real wood smoker for 14hrs low and slow and I substitute pork shoulder for pork belly. Unbelievable difference, those succulent little Sam itches will not last Ten minutes I promise you. as always great video, great recipe and your still a psychopath lol much love from NOR-CALIP. S I can't believe you still had a plate of those crispy onions at the end.

Hi Sam, I really like this idea! I like to make pulled pork on my smoker (wood only. I know, its a really long process. I see you have a big green egg in the background. Could you smoker it first and then put in the pressure cooker? It may shorten the time but will I have similar results? Thanks again, I will try this out.

Made this today on my Traeger Grill, also did the fried onions in the air fryer. Made homemade rolls and we did pulled pork sandwiches. One of my guests said, that was the best pulled pork I have ever had. I wish my dad was here to try it, Guess we are doing it again in a couple weeks, oh darn. Stay safe everyone.

I just F-ing love the cooking videos. The things that don't go exactly correct make it real. The frustrations make it human! Our house smells so wonderful right now because my wife is cooking this now. I'm glad her pressure cooker locked. Keep the Faith Sam & the great cooking.

OH HEY, It's just like the torta he made, except he put pulled pork instead of chorizo. ZZZZZZZZz this is what white people do. They cook things with the same sauce, bread, veggies, etc. but put different meat and call it a different dish.
