Seeing this for the first time nearly a year later. Superb content, Top Gear-level camaraderie, production, editing. you guys are professional, culturally curious and sensitive - and international TV worthy. You each add something distinct (plus James) and you need syndicating the world over. And hopefully you make people realise that British culinary passions are much wider than people think. Cheers guys!

Rite-Spot in California beats this location by about 10 years originally dating to 1925. The burger wasn't introduced at Kaelin's Restaurant until 1935. There's also some argument the original cheeseburger was introduced in Connecticut act Louis Lunch back even further into 1895, though doesn't quite resemble the burger as we know it today. Fun facts while everyone is stuck in quarantine.

Ohhh my gosh, zipline guide here, not from Louisville, a little more east in WV, but I had a coworker last season who talked about an underground place in KY she'd worked at previously and I bet this is it! I'd almost forgotten about it, thanks for reminding me! (And for giving me foodie reasons to go check it out someday. :D)

But the cheeseburger wasn't invented in Kentucky? The first records of cheese on a hamburger being sold are from 1924 in Pasadena California. So it had already been a thing in other parts of the country for a decade before Kaelin did it

What they called chicken mayonnaise Americans call chicken salad. What the Brits call chicken salad is actually chicken AND salad, or chicken with with fresh vegetables, generally lettuce and tomato.
