Reviewing Potentially TERRIBLE Kitchen Gadgets Ft. iJustine

We think these actually might be some of the most useful gadgets we've tested! Or maybe iJustine's gadge savvy ways just won us over? Doug: Okay, I am late to the party but I am a proselytizer for the two-bladed wine bottle opener. First, I am a wine drinker of many years. I have used both horrible (auger) corkscrews and proper (helix) corkscrews. There is no question that a helix is the easiest and fastest way to open a general bottle of wine. But there is one place where the two-blade opener works better. When the cork is older, or dry, and crumbly. By gently wiggling the blades down the sides of the cork until fully inserted, then slowly twisting as you pull up, you can salvage what would otherwise be a bottle needing filtering. I actually keep one of these in my car when I travel. I have saved myself and more than one server by having this on hand. I give them as gifts but I do include at least one bottle of training with each one given. Now off my soapbox and back to my save-place.

I'll be buying the kebab thingy from a different video for my parents as a moving in present when they buy their new place. NOT because I think they want it, but because I want it, but I live alone and don't have people around often enough to warrant it: (

The two prong cork remover is used when the cork is likely to be crumbly, as in aged wine. You dont want a standard corkscrew crumbling the cork into your 30 year old Grange Hermitage, so you use the two prong thing instead.

Never heard or seen iJustine (the name is already pretentious. I have to say, despite her being cute on some level, I like your reviews without her better (not that I would ever buy any of these useless gadgets)

Rub-a-Way We ALL OWN STAINLESS STEEL SILVERWARE! Grab a spoon/fork & wash it - PROBLEM SOLVED. USELESS!
I worked in a kitchen supply store when this came out; got in trouble for saying this to a customer

So much fun here. One note, the coffee mug warmer can also be used as a scented candle warmer. In office spaces that don't allow for open flames, you can still use your candles.

Barry is at fault for my headache right now. I was laughing soo hard while he helped James with the fry (chips) holder, that now I have a headache. :): )

I want to hear James do a Boris Karloff impersonation-he has the intonation for it. Besides he would scare the shit out of Jamie if he did it.

Why can't you just put your tea/coffee on the stove or mug in the microwave? The cup warmer is definitely biggest rip-off, at any proce.
