The Gazpacho is my favorite because that seems to be something you could easily make at home and not have to pay 4 quid a bottle for. Seems like it would preserve really well too, maybe you could even freeze it with good results?
The spirulina thing I'd rather just have access to the powder itself and be able to use it for things than pay that price for lemon water which again is super easy to make at home.
I'm from Sweden and I have tasted birch sap before and I'm not a fan, I am a fan of it getting popular though because it's such a simple product and birch trees are pretty easy to come by over here.
I have never tasted kombucha so I can't really say much about that.

Great reviews. Kudos to you guys for choosing things that are not only interesting and tasty, but also well packaged. Sometimes. Can we just stop marketing drinks in small plastic bottles? havent we learned that it is a bad thing? Why not small cartons - OK I know, those are hard to recycle too - or glass, like 2 of these. We do need better glass recycling, don't we? As for the prices, I think all these are reasonable. I am not saying I'd buy them often! But compare with a beer, a cup of decent coffee, a smoothie, an energy drink, a bottle of fancy lemonade. They compare well (that wine for a special occasion, maybe.

You know I can't believe nobody made the connection. you youngins
they called me Arnold! We had gazpacho soup for starters. I didn't know that gazpacho soup was meant to be served cold. I called over the chef and told him to take it away and bring it back hot! So he did. the looks on their faces still haunt me today! I thought they were laughing at the chef, when all the time they were laughing at me as I ate my piping hot gazpacho soup! I never ate at the Captain's table again.

Enjoyed this episode you guys, great job! Loved your mentioning of all the ingredients, found it really helpful. Also happy to hear about new healthy products I wouldn't otherwise had known existed. I'm also warming up to Ebbers after hearing about his Kombucha success - I can't get mine brewing properly. Anyway, lots of love to you guys!

I would imagine the gazpacho is a tastier version of the v8 drinks I ve had since childhood.
I ve successfully made yogurt last month, so kombucha is next on the diy wishlist. Also kefir! I ve been drinking it for abt decade; it s really nice. Good to see your experiment turned into something great!

idk,
Quick question for Jamie; with the gazpacho drink you claim it s too expensive because it s not really a meal and it needs something to go with it. But Ben compared it on par in terms of price to a salad. Which to me isn t really a meal either so Jamie, when did a salad become a meal for you?

Birch sap wine, I would try it. Sounds tasty like birch beer. For those who don't know, think root beer except made from birch bark. It does have a very distinct taste. It has a wintergreen tastes. It's not something I find very often. But when I do, I buy a bottle or four.

My sis brews her own Kombucha at home. It's kind of amusing because occasionally she forgets about fermenting bottles and when she goes to open them she's like Well this is gonna be messy. and sure enough, it is. Makes me laugh every time.
