I typically use silicone mats when baking macarons. I also use a template to get perfect circles. Make sure to use a round piping tip, and pipe vertically. Its also important not to over or under mix your batter, which was not clearly shown in this video (The last recipe was overmixed); The batter should fall off the spatula in a smooth ribbon and set in with the rest of the batter within 15-20 seconds.

hairy armed people should not be preparing macarons close up - i wanted to vomit when that dude was making the strawberry cheesecake and the cookies and cream macarons. look i get people have arm hair - but when you are shooting close up videos of people cooking - let the sasquatch looking dudes stay behind the cameras

Why do they always leave so much batter behind in the bowl? That really irritates me. Also, theyre not making it right, at least if you watch tasty 101 how to make macarons. Do the workers at tasty even watch Claires tasty 101? Youre supposed to blend the almond flour and confectioners sugar in a food processor

The amount of food dye in the oreo one has me concerned just because it affects the cookie batter. Is there any way you could figure out the ratio for if you were to blitz the cookies really finely and then incorporate that into the batter?
