The sweet potatoes should be baked not boiled. Boiling them gets rid of some of the flavor and it also introduces water thats not necessary. Additionally, there is no need for all that sugar or flour. A lot less sugar and sweetened condensed milk leads to a creamier texture. I also add about a half teaspoon of freshly ground cloves. This recipe seems pretty mediocre to me.

Nobody around here makes sweet potato pie anymore so I am going to master what is my favorite dessert in the world. This one looks absolutely luscious. Im definitely going to use this recipe. Thank you so much for sharing it. And you are beautiful.

My Aunt Viv was the only one in our family that still made sweets. Wow, really? I cant imagine going a week without whipping up a batch of cookies, brownies or muffins just on a whim& because I love baking. Thats very interesting.

Theres usually very little variation in sweet potato pie recipes. This one is a little different, and its always nice to see one made without canned condensed milk. not that theres actually anything wrong with that either.

I made two of these pies and brought them to Christmas dinner and they were absolutely delicious The family loved them, especially my sister. Thanks for such a great recipe. Ill definitely make it again.

At Walmart in my community of black people. Walmart has a sale on pumpkin pie after Thanksgiving and Christmas for 2 dollars. A freezer just for pumpkin pies because black people prefer sweet potatoes pies
