I am from Ethiopia. We dont cook Doro wet every day. Its only for holidays, but its not an obligation, so Doro wet is not always in the middle. She made it seem like we eat Doro every day. We Ethiopian are not really meat eaters. We eat meat. Yes we do, but most of our dishes are made out of legumes, but we add meat if we want too. Its not always meat meat meat as she said unless you can afford it. Meats are actually kinda expensive in Ethiopia. So no its not always meat meat meat and doro in the middle.

This actually changed the game for me. Im a carnivore and I used butter and beef tallow to cook the meat and organs. But the catch is it oxidises and changes form (I. e. unhealthy. So I used to put the fat first and cook the meat. Now following Genet I put the meat in first and add the fat later. It doesnt cook to an overly high temperature and the flavour is enhanced to a next level. Thank you.

It looks delicious, but it isnt remotely Ethiopian. Jalapenos, sunflowers, tomatoes, and potatoes come from the Americas. Beets, collard greens, and cabbage are European. Lentils, carrots, chickpeas, and tofu are Asian. Other than the bread, theres nothing there even from Africa, let alone Ethiopia.

I love Ethiopian food and Ive had before but I wasnt aware that feeding each other at every meal was a thing. No disrespect, Id try it once, but I just dont think that would be for me. I cant stand people touching my face. I love the idea I think its super sweet I dont think I could do it w/o freaking out.

I lost 78lbs in one year eating Ethiopian vegan diet If you do, make sure you eat it with the 100% teff injera, not the one that mixed with flour The way I did it was eating once a day, as much I wanted Ethiopian food is magical, if you stay away from the meats Good luck.

That salad is way too simmilar to the local salad on the Swahili Coast know as Kachumbari (i THINK thats how its spelt. The Somali one is not that diffrent either. Must be an East African thing.
