Having grown up poor, I have been awear of cornbread sandwiches since the time I was a child. Some of the ingredients were different than these here, but the cornbread was definitely there. And that biscuit and sauge sandwish which is a milti-million dollar seller, was a staple in almost every poor black childs meal plan at one point in time. IM JUST SAYING.

Hi Great recipe, as for Worcestershire, its one of those strange British words. Its pronounced wu-stuh. We have many regions that sound completely different than how it looks when written. Very understandable why you are tongue tied. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Im sure the pronunciation doesnt hinder the taste. UK blessings.

As someone who made this, I was not happy with this recipe. The barbeque sauce was basically ketchup, in every way. The cornbread was bland, and still broke apart and made me have to use utensils to finish a sandwich. the coleslaw was not good either. Top to bottom all of this was really not good at all.

A tip for everyone out there struggling with saying Worcestershire, it breaks down in to three chunks worcestershire, how it sounds will depend on your accent, for example where Im from it comes out like wus-steh-shuh. It is also delicious on cheese ontoast.

Add the shredded chicken to the BBQ sauce you said but instead did the opposite by adding the BBQ sauce to the shredded chicken. Oops sorry I wasnt gonna comment this but it got stuck in my mind and couldnt get it out/

This also might be great with fish. Like, tuna or some white wish. With some different sause, of course, but veggies with chicken/fish are always a great idea.
