1. YOU DONT USE REGULAR FLOUR, YOU USE MATZO MEAL, its Jewish dish for Christ sake. 2. YOU DONT PUT BABY FOOD ON TOP OF IT Its a savory dish you eat along with rice and vermicelli noodles or something on this sort. (and maybe alongside schnitzels because your Jewish mom/grendma didnt want to throw away good oil, so might as well make more food)

This is so incredibly disrespectful to post a Jewish recipe that includes FLOUR and BREADCRUMBS during Passover. WTF are the producers at Tasty thinking? Its so much easier to make a note to say or matzo meal instead of flour. Its nice that they are putting UP a Jewish recipe, but this is incredibly tone deaf.

we call these thingies draniki (singular dranik) here in russia, and also in ukraine and belorussia i guess but ive never had them w/ anything like applesause. i like them most with sour cream. btw hand-grating onion is a real torture for your eyes, i mince it with a knife as fine and quickly as i can

You post this during Passover, when cooking with straight flour and bread products are forbidden to the Jewish people. Who okayed this? If they had been called their German or Korean names I would not complain but you guys picked, seemingly purposefully, to use the Jewish name instead.

If you dont have an electric grader it will take half an hour(minimum) to hrade enough potatoes for your family. The whole recipe is dumb and a waste of time. Ps thats my opinion, stfu everyone

In Poland its called placki ziemniaczane and is considered a regular meal for dinner Usually we eat it with sour cream on the side and they are delicious sprinkled with sugar ( yes with the onion inside and everything)

Some onions tend to burn, so just to be sure I add fried onions to the sauce. Theyre pretty amazing without the onions as well. Sour cream & caviar or lardons & fried onions & cream sauce. Thank me later.

First recipe is basically what we call in Indonesia especialy west java bala-bala dipping in sauce white vinegare with salt, punch garlic and aren sugar(brown sugar) the taste very sour sweet salty yummy.
