How To Bake Your Own Puppy Treats At Home Arie: This looks good A good reminder: Its way better and healthier to use artisanal or homemade peanut butter, made only with peanuts(no sugars, no preservatives, all natural. A lot of peanut butter brands have a lot of shitty ingredients and honestly homemade peanut butter is soooo much tastier than store bought ones, if you cant get/buy artisanal peanut butter, just buy pealed and unsalted peanuts and use a blender or processor and mix the peanuts until a creamy consistency. And if you just want to use store bought peanut butter try to buy the more natural one or that in its ingredients is not listed XYLITOL because its very toxic for dogs. And instead of sweet potato you can use banana, pumpkin or applesauce too.

WARNING Tasty - you should warn your viewers to use natural peanut butter and not the fake kind like Kraft and Skippy because some of those types of PB contain xylitol and artifical sweetners and are not for animal consumption, they'll make your pets sick. I use a similar recipe and most of them have warnings for the peanut butter. You can also use fresh organic parsley for a natural puppy breath freshner as an optional add-on.

Why are these better for your dog than just, like, normal cakes and cookies? I mean, I'd rather leave out the cinnamon and ginger than the butter. Considering what they normally eat. I bake at home too and I always share with my dog. Butter, sugar, eggs, great.

Okay time to be real for a moment Y'all. Your dog will be MUCH happier if you just give them a slice of ham, or cheese, or anything. They eat poop? Not super picky. You don't need to be cooking up recipes for your dog.

The treats are okay. But the cake is a big no-no. Way too much Sugar Also flour, cinnamon, powdered ginger, baking powder. That's a human cake, but a dog does not need or crave suger, it's just unhealthy for them.

if you live near a brewery you can ask for their spent grains; grains used for the brewing process. These make great livestock feed or make good dog treats or cookies for people.

Im totally gonna make those cookies for my dog for her first birthday in August. I wanna make the carrot cake but I would need to find other dogs to share it with.

These treats are so much healthier than the store bought ones. You have no idea what they put in them. I will make these for my doggy friends
