Oh wow I've been picking a deep green for my new bedroom wall among other colors, going through a zillion color swatches and collecting fan decks. Maybe Green Kale could work! Cause this that is basically the look I've pictured. Tricky thing is it's kinda low light in here so that has me studying about Light Reflection Values (LRV) and thinking, So damn, I hafta get 60-80 LRV only to maximize what sunlight I get? But I wanted deep, rich green! And is this low light gonna make deep greens look too black, blue, gray or otherwise not green? I notice Drew's room still looks fresh and bright even with one dark wall, yay! Of course it helps that the other walls are so light.
Open to opinions from anyone reading! Like Drew, I'm realizing my inspo photos have brighter greens than I was thinking even though I'm usually a soft, muted, earthy, dusty colors type of a gal. Something I love about green is you can't go too wrong cause greens (bright, soft, all shades) mix-n-match so well in nature. Not as hard to get right as something like say yellow I'd say. Plus green is my favorite color, most relaxing color for the eyes, and goes with my nature theme and plants! May get a Mighty Board or a pint to try out a couple greens awhile.

Nice re-design but I think you need more storage! You've gone (IMO) from slovenly clutter to neatly appointed collections of clutter. I'm not feeling the open clothes rack: looks like you don't have a closet but need one; how about an armoire, either thrift or one of those IKEA ones, you could upgrade from white to an accent color? Usually when you finish your bedrooms they look like high end hotel suites. Also you left your curtain rods positioned right above the windows but I've heard you say place them higher, it makes the windows look bigger. Anyway nice work as always, maybe I've been binge-watching too many of your vids.

Just want to say thanks for the template idea for creating a gallery wall display. I used it for my wall baskets and I'm very happy with the results. And I 'm sure my neighbours appreciate the silence - no more hammering nails repeatedly. BTW, I used T pins pushed into the plaster to hang them.

Currently trying to Diy our boys bathroom. I have done nothing in their since we moved in 8 years ago. So far I have managed to go from gross to industrial with just what I have at home but now I got to go buy shelves. Really wish we had half the stores you have in the states here in Rio.

I'm glad you show us the mess we creatives tend to live in, which makes me feel less guilty. Please show us a compact plan for storage of supplies and a work space on which we can close a door. My hobby is all kinds of needlework and my daughter is an illustrator.

I love this type of transformation! Im very into interior design and have this urge to shift stuff around but dont have the budget for full blown makeovers so its always cool to see how other people make such a difference without buying a ton of stuff!
