Can this be simplified somehow? I mean. are these steps meant to be decorated? What if one wants to make cool and proportional noses, but without going realistic. what is the process?

The thing I love about drawing noses is the fact that even when you do something you didn't want to, it's not a mistake because there are lots of nose types!
