The Dragon is back! In this video, sculptor Andrew Keith shows us step by step how he sculpts a game of thrones dragon from start to finish. His process includes the supplies he uses, tips on filling an armature, and advice on texturing clay. Interested in learning more about sculpture? Want to make a dragon of your own? Andrew is helping me film a basics course on sculpting. We also have Zoe Dufour-s sculpting masterpiece demo that she just released. You can find more info at

I used to draw quite a lot when I was a kid, but then I started studying other things, and work full time, and now I'm 27 and just rediscover that passion (drawing. I practice every day and I'm quite good at copying, and my question is: is it possible to get good at drawing just copying? I'm afraid that I wasting my time doing that, but honestly, I don't know what else to do. How can I get better at drawing? I love your work so much. Thank you!

This gets me excited to get better at sculpting. I just failed my talent exams for the second time, so I can't start an art school in September. Well, the next exam is in January, so after I finish my current school, I can focus on drawing, painting and sculpting, then try again and hopefuly, finally start studying something I actually like

Pls stop, every time I watch a video of yours I wanna go and try it for myself. My backlog is growing without end, yet I'm still learning values, shapes and basic hand control skills. (T_T)
Thanks for the nice video and on I go to get some clay on Amazon.

I don't use Chavant, but the same points will hold up. I'll tell you that you'd forget about keeping tunnel-visioning away so much, glued too much on to working current detail basically become most of the problem D:

We-ve got more sculpture content on the way! Let me know what kinds of sculptures you-d want to see in Andrew Keith-s sculpture course. We-ll try to include some of your suggestions.

And then, do you mold and cast it? If yes, what do you remove to most and cast?
I mean for example you mold and cast a fang and stick it with glue on the main part right?

I thinking about selling mine, but my problem is painting. I'm not really good at painting, I'm good at watercolor on PAPER, but acrylic is just. No. Just no.

Hi. What kind of wire do you use? It is 8 gauge but what type? I can see it's very soft. The dragon is wonderful. I like it: -)
