Long story short, block art comes from judging yourself. Just drop it and start drawing, thinking process here is input lag between blank canvas and what you deem -finished product-.
It doesn't matter how it will look, just draw it. Longer your think of it, more thoughts you will attract and you get what you focus on. In this case, thinking about what you should draw will attact you more of -i should draw this, i should draw that, oh that's not exactly what i want, what if this, that. - Instead of simply just imagine something within range of your drawing understanding and just draw.
No matter how crazy idea it is, if you get stuck somewhere along the way, move away to another idea and when it feels right, go back to initial idea you've already started. Even if you imagine something like -vanilla pudding eating cucumber under the table while sharks swiming around in tiny glasses, heck, just draw it. What's wrong with drawing this?
If you dig deeper, maybe some reasons here are:
1. Nobody on internet does this. See where the problem is? You judge yourself and therefore blocking your creativity with judgmental shit.
2. They don't teach this. Again, judging?
3. What will others think of my art if i post it? Hmm, you've already understand where this goes: D
4. By reading this you already know that any thought you have while looking at empty paper is basically cockblocking you from drawing anything.
Just be.
Eliminate that input lag i've mentioned before. Let your hand do the job, your job is to focus so you don't lose the idea.
I tried to explain in very simple and understandable way, but there's whole lot of psychology and whatnot processes involved in our heads and i can only think for myself.
Despite understanding all this, i still have to deal with art block sometimes. It's easier, but ultimately it is just something i will get rid of soon enough with proper mental focus.

I watched Kiki's Delivery Service yesterday. Kiki is a witch, and at one point her magic becomes so weak that she can't fly with her broom anymore. She becomes depressed and deprived of motivation, she sais -If I lose my magic, that means I've lost absolutely everything-. Luckily, she meets Ursula, an acquaintance who invites Kiki to sleep a night over at her place. Ursula is a young person living deep in the forest, trying to become an artist. When Ursula learns about Kiki's problem, she opens up to her about her struggles as an artist; how sometimes she suddenly feels like she can't draw anymore. Ursula gives Kiki very good advice after that. She sais -Stop trying. Take long walks. Look at scenery. Doze off at noon. Don-t even think about flying. And then, pretty soon, you-ll be flying again. - When it gets really bad with the art block, just take a break. Look at scenery. Doze off at noon. Don't even think about drawing. And then, pretty soon, you'll be drawing again =)

When I am suffering from the dreaded art block I start browsing Deviant art or FA. I try to get inspiration. Eventually I'll find a piece that I like and that I look at and feel something could be added. I do my best to make sure the final work looks nothing like the original (unless it's just practice, in which case I'll copy away as it's not likely to be shared. Often though I'll still give a mention in my comments that I used it for inspiration along with a link. Eventually you will get good enough that you will not have to do this. But don't fool yourself, even the best artists suffer art block.

When I am suffering from the dreaded art block I start browsing Deviant art or FA. I try to get inspiration. Eventually I'll find a piece that I like and that I look at and feel something could be added. Often though I'll still give a mention in my comments that I used it for inspiration along with a link. Eventually you will get good enough that you will not have to do this. interesting video to watch! also didn't know that the creator of Drawabox was someone called irshad. Personally i think i struggle more with actually deciding which idea is -good-. I find it really easy to doubt the ideas that i have and start to second guess them, which often just leads to low productivity, because i lack the clarity to actually go in a single direction.

Good ol artblock. Its enough to drive ya mad! Its crazy to think the mind can conjure up millions of images and yet I find it soo hard to draw something what I consider worthwhile? I sometimes have that idea, almost as though Ive seen it in some fantasy concept book, but when I end up putting pen to paper, that image just dissipates-

We need individual terminology for when you get art block as a lack of ideas/inspiration,
And for when you hit that plateau after getting higher in skill and it just feels like everything sucks again and you can't do anything and nothing feels right.

If I need some inspiration, I look through some RPG source books or other fiction books. A fun idea might be to look at stuff in an RPG book and something completely different, like say, a children's storybook and see what you can combine into a new idea.

I don't understand what it's like to not know what to draw. I have so many ideas all the time, it's overwhelming. My art blocks are not about not knowing what to draw, but about being unable to get myself to start working.
