Hello, my fellow cartoonists, comic book fans, and manga sketchers! Today, I bring you an easy demonstration for drawing a head shot of a superhero style. I'll show you how to create that etched look of the face - the powerful brow, articulated cheekbones and jutting chin. And we'll put the face in a mask, too. As a kid I enjoyed tracing comic book characters like Superman, Green Lantern, Hulk and Batman. Now you can learn to draw an original character. Yes, it's all about character design.
