Microgreens are pretty easy to grow, but they do require the right soil and planting technique to avoid mold, over-planting, and best yields Karl: Kevin, good video and thanks for the particulars (weights, types, ratios, etc. I see the manufacturer of your trays. Are they strong and firm when you move them? Not collapsing in the middle under the weight? I too am looking for a shallower container, but I haven't found anything yet. I just received micro-mats and trays from a company and I'm looking to try microgreens out. I've done wheat grass with no problems so I'm stepping up!

Hi Kevin. Thanks for your informative video! I am curious. you said this is a new mix trial for you. Were you pleased with the results? You posted this some time ago, so I am also curious whether you have adjusted your grow medium mix since then. Thanks again!

Hi I enjoy your videos I am having trouble growing the curl Cress and my mustards they turn yellow relatively quickly and I dont know if its a damping off or if its a nutrient problem whats your best guess?

If I were to use 75% peat moss and 25% Pearlite and I plan on harvesting the microgreens during the cotyledon stage, could I recycle the soil with no issues since it isn't using soil nutrients?

Thanks Kevin for all your videos! Do you notice if different seasons affect growth habits of your greens? Also whats your light source? And is there a book you can recommend? Thanks

Enjoyed the video. Would like to see you harvest them. Are they dirty? Do you wash them before eating or selling them? Do you use scissors to harvest them? Thanks!

You don't even need soil, what I see some people using is a colander and they just pour sees in it an just place it slightly above a container of water.

Got it, Smart Naturals Happy Frog Potting Soil, and General Hydroponics Cocotek Premium Coco Growing Media is used to grow micro greens. Thank you.

Thank you for the video. Do you change the soil everytime you start the new seeds? Or can you use the same soil for a few times?
