Such a beautiful dinner party set-up! You can't get any better than dining in the middle of a beautiful garden. The floral arrangements are stunning. Since my dahlias and zinnias are gone in the frost, I put a fall arrangement together this week that consisted of sage, rue, scented geranium, dried hydrangeas, burgundy strawflowers, a few sprigs of burning bush, and fresh lavender. The colors are stunning, and who knew that so much can be done with greenery and a few flowers. The scent is amazing!

Thanks, such a lovely table setting. I need to grow some of that sage to add to arrangements! We've had unusually warm weather too and my zinnias and calendulas are still going strong. I love to find great pieces like your cut glass bowls at the thrift stores, they look so elegant but are often very affordable. Looking forward to hearing your report about the dinner party, have fun!

The garden is just stunning! the table and dinner Party WOWOOWOWOW what a great evening! your family and guests are very lucky. the atmosphere is JUST heaven. it all came together just beautifully. LOVE IT ALL! :-) and I know October 24th here is PA and its so nice and warm still, need rain but thats another story.

Everything was sheer perfection! You could have a lucrative side business as a venue hosting special dinners. Your customers could bring their own food or cater it themselves and you just provide the setting. The only advertisement you need is the final tour you just showed us and it’ll sell itself.

Flatware. what we call them in Missouri, whether silver or gold. OH and kudos to you saying both sides of the library instead of either. You be surprised how many people misuse the word either.

Danielle, an absolutely stunning, magazine worthy setting! I just love a beautiful dinner party. The plates are everything! So gorgeous! I, too, have silver and gold flatware and just refer to them as flatware. Have a fabulous evening!
