cozy To prepare for relaxation this winter at the log cabin (actually, my wife and I had the first fire in the woodstove a few nights ago when it got down close to freezing, I reassemble the wood stove, including cleaning the glass, replacing the rope gaskets and hooking the chimney back up. I get up early and cook blueberry bannock (I planned to have pancakes, but I ran out of milk and eggs

A couple of years ago I waked up in my belltent in Llyn Gwynant campsite. Wonderful place on shore of lake and on footstep of mountain. I camed out to make some coffee. I got coffee for free in craft roastery in London, for feedback. So I milled some beans, put it in turkish pot set and best coffee in my life was done.
A chill morning, next to a mountain. It's so calm that I can hear voices next to a Elephant rock and beat coffee.
Smell eventually attracted some local wildlife and a couple girls next door approached me to ask if they can buy a cuppa. I told them that coffee is free and if they force their money in my hand it will travel to first charity i'll see. This morning MacMillans got 27 quid from 12 people

This what you call doing an exceptional job and taking pride in ones work. Younger generation needs to pay attention. What happened to the old glass? Mine got blackened yellow. I think we cleaned it with ammonia but I understand that clean glass look. I used high temp black paint on one of these and am surprised it lasted 4 yrs now outside in the sun, unreal. Just a little pint can did 3 coats, its really really thin and goes a long way. Last recommendation for rusted metal. It has to be rusted for the product to work called Por15, if you dont know about it already its great for those older homes with metal on the joists exposed in basements and anything rusted. Rustoleum actually bought por15 company. Awesome vid!

LOL The man might have changed his life style, but he has not forsaken his love of good coffee, hence his bean grinder and what Amazon classifies as an espresso coffee percolator. He even built a special place for it in the outdoor kitchen. i love to watch him cook but you dont see him doing dishes much. Not that I blame him, I hate to clean cast iron. A tip: If you coat the outside of your pan with dishwasher detergent before you put it over or in the fire, the soot is much easier to wash off.

I have watched many videos of these because I love nature, everything I see is beautiful, but of all those videos, the ones I like the most are yours because you almost do everything manually and for me it is what makes it more interesting, they are very good to see and instructive: each one of those images I have recorded in my mind as if I were living in that beautiful place my respects for you many thanks for letting us be part of such a beautiful nature that God will sell you

Once you get that meat cellar in where everything can stay cool and dry, meat will be hanging to be cured. I love the sausage that hangs this time of year. We ll hang it in our garage, takes about 6 weeks or so, squeeze it so the middle gets spread and dries quicker. Heck I eat it raw when I m hungry. Raw eggs too in the summer when I m in a hurry, drink down 2-3 eggs to keep that protein rolling.

I'm a plumber and boiler tech. I install but mostly service existing natural gas, propane and fuel oil burning boilers whether new high efficiency state-of-the art units or decades old steam systems. This makes me wish I was a wood stove tech. Seems like those that have them can do it themselves though! I was on the edge of my seat watching this, great content. God bless

That looks delicious! I know its not for everyone but if its natural I m in! Not a fan of processed anything except yogurt and cottage cheese. I love my oats with a banana and raisins to sweeten it up. I love the cured or smoked meats best

Shawn I realized many of your videos I had watched more than once and hadn't done the thumbs up on all. I'm going back and catching up. I love everyone. Your comment, the music, everything you do. I can't wait for your wife to be there too.

I must confess, I found myself on Amazon yesterday looking at percolators. The coffee just looks so good. Drip or Keurig coffee looks almost clear when it's poured. That percolator joe looks dark and rich.
