Your whole place feels wholesome, with the birds already nesting in your home, and spring being it's beautiful young green self. and that DUCK. I can just SMELL it. gosh golly I want some! Do you know how hard it is to GET duck here? oh I envy your environment! Thankfully I live in a very green place myself, so no worries, just happy joyful envy here. I am so enjoying seeing the garden growing, the cabin growing, and Cali and you both still happily moving on with life. It's awesome, and amidst all the worlds worries, your video's are a safe haven, a breath of fresh air and a hopeful and wholesome time to share.

Amazing meal all off the land No Walmart or Amazon. I always thought living off the land was all Nutz and Berries! So a Moose walks into a bar and says to the bartender, Craziest thing the other day this two legged walker started following me and picking up all my. That's nothing I seen him talking to a stick all day in the meadow while throwing up Orange beaver tails for his Golden Fox to retreive.

Hello Shawn & Cali girl, Cali is so polite, slowly squeezing in there to get a drink of water. It always amazes me the way grouse just disappear into their surrounding like that. Ugh. I know better to eat before watching your videos because now. I'm hungry for turkey and veg. Thank you for another video, always looking forward to the next one, take care.

I, absolutely love wild turkey. I, crock pot mine with chicken broth, garlic and herbs, but 5hrs. oh my, the flavor and tenderness. I must admit I do soak the raw turkey in vinegar water, and while cleaning, just calms the wild down just a tad. Just love it. Non of my family likes wild turkey but love to hunt them, so I reap the meat, yah, lucky me.

I had to turn my head when you were cleaning the four little turkey it was very interesting watching you cook it made me hungry when you were putting those french fries in the pan making the gravy you must be great around the house come Thanksgiving

Thanks for sharing you're life and work. Im an old guy stuck at home for the past two years I was always very active miss using my hands to create things watching your labour's has kept me sane. looking forward to more of your adventures thanks again

Cali is such a sweety. If you can imagine, I have a 7lb yorkie (Bella) that runs around all day with a stuffed frog in her mouth. I throw it off and on everyday. Bella is a twin, her sister Izza sits around and just watches. No interest at all.
