10- catch.
Great deboning tip for trout/bass/salmon. Gut the fish, then inside the gutting, back of the head, only sever the spine. Do not cut off head or any fins. Turn the head upwards, but do not snap or break off. Use fishing pole upside down. With hand holding upside down fish body, and other hand holding upside down fishing pole, push upside down eye tip onto spine, and continue pushing towards tail. Process removes spine and fish bones in one movement. Then you have totally deboned, but intact fish, for freezing or cooking. Salmon fishing pole eye tip for salmon deboning. Otherwise DIY MYOG appropriate eye tip with 4 inch wood/plastic/fiberglass dowel. Quick and easy to use, more meat left in body, versus any filet method. Can cook, bake, skillet fry, or stew the BONES and any remaining meat, for fish bone (and head) soup, or easy scrape off of all remaining meat from the bones. No waste.

I live in N. Y. state. Watch all your videos. I live in WNY but my aunt has a farm in southern tier N. Y. where I go hunting, fishing and trapping. I think what you show is great and you help many learn. Comment for the squirrel video, I have found that squirrel is a tougher meat and needs to be soaked in salt longer and I generally wrap it in aluminum foil with some sort of fat and seasoning. Set it next to the fire till done

I fish I am not vegan or anything but for best taste and staying humane dispatch the fish as soon as you catch it if you olan on keeping it. It's a win win smack it over the head with a big stick or rock or even punch it multiple times. It's worth it

It never ceases to amaze me, the amount of people worried about the life of a fish that is about to be eaten. I guess putting them on a stringer is paramount to waterboarding.
