Eating Bone Marrow for Breakfast

we dig into a quick camp meal using the bones of a meat stripped bear. This is making the most of the animal harvested by maximizing every part of it. Bone marrow is very rich in nutrients and high in calories compared to just lean meat. Something cavemen were sure to take advantage of. The GOAL of the SURVIVAL CHALLENGE is simple: GAIN or MAINTAIN, body weight eating only WILD FOODS!

I get stringing fish up idc. But they say fish dont feel pains like humans do, so who knows what its like for fish, but theres one simple test you can try. Just slowly stab a fish in a non vital area repeatedly and see if it reacts. If it squirms more than it was before, im gonna go ahead and say it feels something negative haha. But ive never tried doing that, maybe itll just flop like a normal caught fish.

Great job again. You guys are a hoot! This was a great collaboration, like the others. Challenge aside, I love how you demonstrate how one needs to eat if you're trying to survive. Where else can you watch a fellow Canuck dining on beaks and claws? Lol? No offense to Izumi but THIS is what I call real fishing. And love that Grohmann Skinner in this episode.

Please make your own brand of Abodo spice or atleast share the one you use! I have never even heard of the stuff before your videos and now want nothing more than to try some!
I go on about pickled turnips the way you go on about it, if you read this comment please try them, they are honestly amazing!

Please stop apologizing for the way you treat your food. It's obvious how much you respect nature and the bounty of life our Lord as provided for us. Plus informing people how to keep wild food fresh. Not everyone knows little tricks like that. Thanks for the vids it's nice and informative.

There are good salts in hard wood ashes, the white ash, these salts don't taste like table salt, but it has the salt effect on food, it brings out flavors, I live off grid in northern Maine with only wood for cooking and heat, I keep lots of sifted ash, I use for salts and other stuff.

Bone Marrow is actually the place where white cells are made usually those white cells are not mature that-s why they stay there to get mature and then they will be sent to the elbows, knees, tonsils and ect.

I grew up fishing at my cottage and we always kept them on a stringer until we were ready to fillet them. I cant believe what people think is cruel nowadays. Look up factory farming kids!
