Hey everyone, we appreciate some of the concerns for our arapaima and the local ecosystem. We have done test on these fish since 2013 leaving a # of them out every single winter with 100% death rate. They simply can not survive the winter in south Florida, we move them to enclosed buildings for that time period then back into catch ponds for our spring and summer seasons! With that being said Jurassic is straight up catchin guys, this is a high fenced hunting style deal. 100% success rate with a high end outfitter style. Trips will run 8am-12 then lunch and cocktail hour will be served at our new club house for the spring / summer 2026 seasons! Looking forward to seeing some of yall out there.

Carping is catch on in America with Great Lakes with great commons if stocked a 20acre lake with island gravel begs snags etc and put wels catfish in bought a load of bait fish unless there are already bait fish and put 200 common and mirror carp and in the cooler months shut for two month and fed load of particl maze cattle feed boilies in you would easy get seventy eighty pound carp with they’re warm weather the cats would easily grow to 150/200 lb there are some decent old lakes matured already pop fourty of them on for the main attraction but I think the odd carper once the carp got massive

People are such haters in the comments, why
Your ego is making you say goofy things
What an awesome experience to take someone to, to catch a giant fish with immediate satisfaction.
All the fish telling bros with wild egos in the comments.
It’s an experience you couldn’t get without paying thousands of dollars of airfare and fishing guides. Sure that’s a better experience but much more work and money which i get is part of the experience but why hate on just a different easier accessible experience who might not be able to afford that other option.

I was in Florida today, and my buddy and I took his boat out to the Sunshine Skyway bridge, and I hooked up on a Goliath Grouper on an 8000 size Shimano spinning reel, a 6'6 offshore rod, 30 lb braid, a 50 lb mono leader, a grunt, and it took me for a FUN ride before he broke the line. I caught a really nice keeper gag grouper (out of season, a blacktip, and a keeper mangrove snapper. Then I flew back home to Pittsburgh. It SUCKED to have to return home.

It’s not fishing, it’s just catching. It’s cool, but not sport fishing. Good to catch one but a fish like that in a pond is nothing like catching one in the wild. I couldn’t mark this species off my list, by catching a pond fish needs to be wild caught in its native habitat.

Hmmmm - yet another import. Those guys will spread like all the others - just like Jurassic park. Wow Florida fish and game just keeps expanding - giant rats, pythons and all the others. Jurassic zoo. Florida its the golden rule - those with the gold make the rules.

According to what I've read, they can tolerate water temperature s down to about 60 degrees Fahrenheit. So yeah, an escape and a few generations of acclimating, and you won't have to worry about snake heads any more. Or bass, or anything else.

Really enjoy your videos. Only one comment. work with a speech coach to lower your voice a couple of octaves and please please please stop saying oh my gosh in a hysterical 5 year old girls voice every 2 minutes. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

It just seems so wrong catching them in a pond. If you go fishing for them where they are actually in the wild it's way more amazing. You get to meet awesome people, go on an adventure, and get to struggle to catch them

All these haters in the comments. Of course it's not the same as catching a fish in its natural habitat, but this is the only chance 99% of people will get to catching an Arapaima. Plus all the other exotics he listed.

This is one of the only videos I don’t like. Bringing in foreign fish to our ecosystem. Not a fan. I know Florida has been struggling with this issue for decades and this will only make it worse

What do you mean, First Cast when fishing in a stocked tank. lmao, I'm not good fisherman at all & I'd never say that
at a stocked pond. Ohh well, the fish I expected you to catch. peace

reply

That's not fishing dude it's a stocked pond that are obviously holding back on feeds to make the fish attack anything that moves in the water. It's a joke what people will do for content
reply

Arapaimas are illegal to keep in the state of florida in case they get loose, so this guy didn't check with the state he's guna be gutted when the state comes and takes them all away
reply

I really hope these don’t end up being the only fish in FL freshwaters soon. I. E. snakeheads, peacocks, and Oscars.
Look what’s happened with just iguanas, pythons, and boas.

reply

Ya but those are timy ponds. A wild one is gonna give you a real fight. And eventually they'll learn what to eat and not to eat. But you can get west nile in Florida from mosquitoes
reply

This dude is so worried about killing them and taking them out the water. Charter customers are gonna run this dude the wrong way. Lotta conflict in the future
reply

Just what FL needs, even more invasive species.
What is the government doing in FL
Looks like they want to be Jurassic park.
You will regret it.
