Fishing for Giant Jack Crevalles on the Jetties

Ive been waiting all year to go fishing for giant jack crevalles on the jetties, its one of my favorite land-based species to target. It can be very challenging to successfully catch giant jack crevalles from the jetties, these fish are smart and know how to break you off on the rocks. I started the day off with topwater plugs, then switched to subsurface swimbaits and finished the day with live mullet. This video was filmed during the 2017 fall mullet migration in Florida.

Hello, have already seen several videosfrom you. really well done but how the fish are partly landed and reset is a disaster of which only half survives. One does not lift fishermen by the line out of the water or throws them from two meters high into the water. You should change that. Kind regards

Could you not keep that trevally seeing as it was going to die anyway with that lure inside of him? Even if they aren't in-season it seems illogical to throw it back when you could harvest it, or would Florida game and wildlife still book you?

Met Blacktip H up at Disney Springs right before Irma hit. He had come north to get away from the storm. What a great guy Took a couple of pics with me and we talked for a few. He is the same guy you see on the videos. Super nice and approachable.

I'm going to start fishing for monster sharks from the beach soon. Should I get a okuma makaira 80w or a penn senator 14/0? The senator has way more line but the 80w has less line but way more drag

I fished Hawaii for 20+ year's and never once did u land a ULUA over 25 pounds. The 1st time I fished in Tampa Bay I landed 8 GT's all over 30 pounds in the 1st hour Hawaii is fished out

Why does everyone in areas like florida use spinning setups for fish like this whereas here in san diego almost everyone uses conventional for our fish?

How are you liking the stellas? I know you had some gripes with the daiwas and was curious to hear what you thoughts were on the stella

I was hoping you kept the fish who had the lure stuck in his mouth, that was going to die anyways and kept it and you do a catch and cook with it.
