BIGGEST Tarpon Ever Caught!

we travel to Bahia Solano, Colombia, to fish the sardine migration along the coast of the Baud Mountains. Shortly after Josh released his first-ever roosterfish, he hooks the biggest tarpon that we had ever seen! This fish was massive! Josh, Alberto Meija, and Dr. Robert Borrego battled this behemoth for nearly two hours before the fish gave up. After quickly taking a photo of the monster fish, we released it back into the ocean. At first, we thought this fish weighed around 250lbs, but after looking at pictures of other record-sized tarpon on Google, we started to believe that our fish was a world record! I called Billy Delph from Delph Fishing and Raymond Douglas from King Sailfish Mounts to validate our catch. Both men agreed that this fish must have weighed over 300lbs and thus breaking the world record! The estimated weight using the Bonefish Tarpon Trust Tarpon Weight Calculator was 312lbs. gary: WOW, what a monster! Get well soon Josh and know what an excellent example this was for anglers of all ages, yes I bet it was a record but you released that beautiful Tarpon to procreate and pass on those giant genes!

I had my L5 S1 herniated for over a year had that brace you got which helped a bit but i had bad sciatica, i was destined for spine surgery until i learned about the Teeter inversion table. This is not a commercial but a true testimonial after 3 months of using this 3 times a day for 15 minutes at a time i was healed, and now have 5 month old baby boy Rio. Give it a try. I live in St. Lucia and you really need to come down here fishing once you get better.

I caught an Atlantic Tarpon just off of Cape Coral last year that was a bit under 5 feet, and maybe 100-120lbs and I thought it was massive. your fish is like the final boss of tarpon. Awesome catch!

Absolutely incredible Josh! Biggest one I've ever seen lives in the Saint Lucie River close to 8' long estimated 250 pounds but we never landed the fish. Great fish Josh and crew!

Josh it took me 5 months after a herniated disc for it to feel better and the sciatic pain to go away. Feel your pain bro. No surgery for me.
