I fish a lot, land based and on my friends boats. So for my birthday (aug15) I booked them for a morning charter, and I gota say, we didnt do well at all. Only Bonita. which is great for them cuz its premium bait, but we went home with skunked. Kinda sucked, especially on my birthday with all my friends sitting around waiting for something exciting. :/

If memory serves, Josh, I seem to remember you saying somewhere that you were going to go fishing in Australia with the Morning Tide boys. I feel like after catching a good amount you should start letting the smaller ones go, i feel like your just trying to get has many as possible, 47 Mahi Mahi really? Like 10 could feed the entire crew but I dont care really but after your 20th Mahi you should start letting the smaller ones go not border line fish

Hey BlackTip, Ill be heading over to Florida at the end of Oct. I was planning on it being a fishing trip but Im growing concerned with the red tide. We normally fish the gulf coast near Pinellas. What are your tips for good fishing and avoiding the red tide while Im there?

I must ask why do you guys keep so many fish, do you sell it to restaurants and markets? My opinion is that just because you can catch 60 per vessel, doesn't mean you should, unless all the meat is being used. Just curious what you guys do with that amount of meat?

Okay I need an explanation. Dolphin? Looks like a Mahi Mahi. Dolphin is a mammal with lungs, Mahi Mahi is not a mammal, its a fish that has gills Can anyone tell me why everyone refers to Mahi as dolphins? They are clearly nothing of the sort.

Realistically how many fish do you really need to take home to the table? Keep going the way you guys do, and soon you be forced to have a quota to stick to. Never seen so much disregard for the numbers game.
