Today I went fishing with Drew, the winner of the Frogg Togg's BlacktipH giveaway and we were in for a giant surprise at literary the last minute of our fishing trip We left the inlet early in the morning and headed a few miles in search of big kingfish. We began the day slow trolling three goggle eyes (the bait, two on the surface and one on the downrigger. Our first bite was on top Drew reeled in the first kingfish of the day, and it wasn't a bad start. Shortly after the next rod gets whacked, and sure enough, it was another kingfish I decided to take the rod on this one and after a short fight we gaffed it and slung him into the boat. As the day went on the kingfish bite started to die down, and things were getting very slow. We decided to change spots and go fishing for barracuda. Within a few minutes, Drew was hooked up to a big barracuda. As we continued to troll around we found a huge school of blue runners and decided to drop down a sabiki to catch a few. After fishing for hours with no bites, we decided to pack it up and call it a day. While we were reeling in the last bait (literary within 20 feet of the boat, a giant kingfish inhales the blue runner This fish nearly dumped the reel We got our first glance at the fish about 15 minutes into the fight and it was a giant fish As it came closer to the boat Carl stuck his gaff out, and stuck it We landed a surprise monster kingfish at the very end of our trip I had a great time out with Drew and Carl for the Frogg Togg's giveaway. We were persistent throughout the day and got rewarded

I am Canadian, but would also like to thank Drew for his service in keeping our neighbours safe and fighting for their freedom. It looked like you guys had a good time despite the poor bite throughout most of the day. Thanks for another great video, Josh Heather

Sick vid I like to see you're taking out subs and giving back Have you thought about doing any vids bringing awareness to the fisheries in decline from Mosquito Lagoon through Stuart on the East Coast?

Thanks for serving our country Drew. Awesome video and thanks for the encouraging words Josh. I've been bummed about the redtide, no excuses. I need to, as you said, make it happen

It's crazy. I use some of those same combos for 70, 80+ pound catfish. But those 20lb Kingfish bent those rods more then I have ever seen a catfish bend a pole. Those fish are hella strong
