Question; those looked exactly like every flounder I've ever caught (except bigger than most of mine) - is there really any difference, or just different name in a different area? Regardless, great video, even in difficult circumstances! . really enjoyed it, as always! Thanks!

Montauk. even to this day, after almost 40 years, the best fishing I ever had! 17 years old, went with my dad, 2 brothers, & a friend of my brother in a 12 foot john boat. Caught the most fish we ever had. Up until that trip, we've only fished in the Catskills. Steamed whole flatfish. mmmm!

Great video, I love fishing, when it is overcast and raining. I seem to catch more fis when it is overcast and rainy conditions. I love watching your videos, keep up the good work. I am continuing to pray for you and your family and friends.

We call that a Flounder here in Texas. Been gigging flounder for Manny years here on the bays and Matagorda Peninsula. Had a flounder boat with an air motor back in the 60- 70 des. Gigged a Manny flounder

Whats the difference in a Fluke and a Halibut? I was in Alaska last week and caught halibut. Biggest was 39 lbs but they were a lot bigger years ago. They appear to be getting over fished. Love the videos

Way to go Darci! I'm in southern NJ and am dying to get up to Montauk to charter a flounder (fluke) trip. There are doormats up there. Sorry you were met with foul weather, but you still rocked it!

You know you don't have to go all the way to NY to catch any of those species of fish. We catch all those off the NC coast. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us!

So nice to see Montauk Harbor. I used to party there in 1979 at the yacht club and the old Star Club when I worked at Gurney's Inn. Nice Shirt at the end!
